The way Dane Jackson is being used tonight it almost makes you think Tre isn’t hurt bad or they think Hairston will be ready to play week 1.

I’ll give you Tre, but Max is on IR imo.

It's about time to start making a list of guys who could have played tonight but didn't. Those are instant cuts.

Surprised to see Hoecht in there still

He's about to get 6 weeks off.

Seems like Ingram and Strong are above him but if white isn’t ready week 1 I wonder if the go with they probably go with Ingram to start

He won’t even be able to practice with the team for 4 weeks (I think) with his suspension so I’m assuming they are just trying to get him as much work in as possible while they can.

I think the longer Dane Jackson plays, the better I feel about Tre being ready for Week 1.  If there is any chance Jackson was going to have to be CB2 opening night, I have a hard time believing he would still be playing into the 4th quarter of the last preseason game.  Not that I am overly confident in Tre being able to do the job, but until Hairston is healthy, he's probably the best answer we have on the roster for that spot.  Even when he is healthy, it still may be a while before he can ramp up to take meaningful reps at that spot.  Going to have some pains at that position I'm afraid no matter what way we end up going there.

Honestly Davidson might be a better punter than a TE

Not much hang time on that baby.  Good thing the returner slipped.  I think he’s a decent TE when given reps, just a numbers game kills him there

Landon Jackson…..not so sure about that kid. Obviously he’s raw but it doesn’t seem like he belongs in some of these reps I’m watching.

Even rookie rough Jackson had the best Pass Rush rating of any Bills D-lineman in the 1st two preseason games combined. He's high cut and basically playing a new position... I think it's going to take at least another full off season to see all of these Rookie D-linemen move towards the lower body strength level they are going to need...

It's going to take some time. But you can't teach the athletic ability he has.

Landon Jackson may not play much this year...we'll see... But he's more about 2026-2027 anyway. I'm an upside guy. He's a 9.78 RAS athlete. The Bills have decent DE depth, especially when Hoect gets back. Chances are Jackson is inactive the majority of the 2nd half of the season if AJ is still around. There's time... B-)

Jackson, Carter and Sanders kinda suck through this preseason.

I can’t remember the last time the Bills drafted any DL and right away we as fans were collectively like “oh, this dude is legit”… Kyle Williams?
