What one player acquired in a trade would guarantee a championship?

If the Bills could make one trade, and not give up any core players, that would guarantee us a Super Bowl victory, who would it be?

 

Would it be someone on offense like Justin Jefferson?

 

Would it be someone on defense like Aaron Donald or Chris Jones?

 

Would it be a player that we might not need, but would hurt the other team like Patrick Mahommes?

 

Is there no such player that would guarantee a trophy?

I think it’s obvious there’s no guarantee available, but to play along Miles Garrett would be my choice.

I'd also say Miles Garrett. But since he's locked up in Cleveland, I'd take Micah Parsons over Trey Hendrickson.

No such thing. There are too many variables. The only time this works is if a team is a QB away. Like if you put Josh Allen on the Vikings. Even then, NFL football is too closely matched for guarantees. But a game wrecker like a healthy Aiden Hutchinson would be one heck of an add to this roster.

I would love to see the bills land a Vince wilfork type player in the future to just clog up the middle completely.  I know we don’t play a 3-4 but wilfork type players can play in any scheme.

I think in our case, DE, and you go with Garrett or after this year I promise everyone gonna be saying Aiden Hutchison. So I'd take either of them

we need a true game wrecker on defense that can make impact plays on the QB.  i dont have a name,  but a hall of fame caliber EDGE or DT thats so disruptive the other teams have to gameplan for him.  Von was our one shot and he looked the part until the injury hit him. you need to get to Mahomes, Lamar and Burrow.  you cant sit back and play coverage and hope to beat them consistently.
