Dablitzkrieg Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I was going to the pet store for dog food. The cashier asked if I would like to donate a stuffed animal for homeless pets. "You can pick any of these", he said. Of course there was a stuffed Buffalo. Of course it was, you guessed it, $17. What are the odds. Bills winning it all this year 🤣. 5 3 1 Quote

I am very confused by this!  WTF would a homeless pet need, or do with, a stuffed animal, even a great one like a Buffalo??  And how would this work? They just go out and find a homeless pet and give them this stuffed buffalo (or other animal)?  A home, some food, a pet bed of some kind, a cardboard box, a tent, a weapon...all of these things seem more appropriate to donate to homeless pets.  Next thing you know it will become a thing, with everyone donating stuffed animals to homeless pets, and dolphins, and kids...    1 Quote

GASabresIUFan Posted 46 minutes ago Posted 46 minutes ago I didn't realize that homeless pets needed stuffed animals. Wouldn't food and shelter be better? Quote
Just Jack Posted 34 minutes ago Posted 34 minutes ago So you paid for some dog in a shelter to play/destroy a stuffed Buffalo? I'm guessing this means the Bills will have a must win game against the Browns (Dog pound) in December for some playoff seeding scenario, and they'll lose. Quote
BigAl2526 Posted 11 minutes ago Posted 11 minutes ago I assume they will end up giving these stuffed animals to a pet shelter, ASPCA or Lollipop Farms (in the Rochester area). There are many more.  At least some of them have volunteers come in regularly to interact with the animals. Stuffed animal would make their lives much less boring. 1 Quote
