I dont think so.  I don't think a championship makes a statue automatic.  Kemp was very ordinary of a qb.

So was every QB in that era. All the grief snotnosed punks give Namath because of his errors just shows they’re completely unaware of the games’ forefathers.

Given Kemp was a very successful politician and a VP on a presidential ticket after 5 championship games and 2 titles is worthy statue material in my book.

Big Kemp fan here.. when we got him, felt like we landed a true AFL  star .. big part of the early establishment of the team..

I wish they still made Republicans like Jack Kemp.

Maybe they could just take one of the turnstiles out of the old stadium and place it on a marble pedestal...

OR

Trent Edwards throwing the ball out of bounds on 4th down!😁

Or Rob Johnson running out of bounds for a loss... that might have to be more than one statue though.

If Allen wins a Super Bowl he becomes a no brainer. I agree with the previous comments where to get recognized for a statue you should really have at least delivered one championship if not multiple.  I love Jim Kelly and he is without a doubt a true wall of famer but if the Bills put a statue of him in front of the new stadium we would be a laughing stock across pro sports fans all over the country lol

Might be a little harsh but as far as I’m concerned the only Buffalo Bills player so far that has earned a reason to have a statue of them is Bob Kalsu. That dude

gave his life for his country in Vietnam and should be honored. The great players we have had on the field; Kelly, Allen, Kemp, the 2k yard running back, have all done great things on the field, but not statue level. Maybe if Allen brings a few Lombardi’s home over the next few years, he can join the conversation.

Speaking of statues, has there been any official word about the Ralph statue that currently stands outside Highmark?

I assume it will be retained and moved closer proximity to the new stadium.

In my perfect world, the troughs from the existing men's facilities are salvaged, bronzed, and mounted strategically in front of the Ralph statue.

He already looks like he's got a two-handed grasp on his 'MVP'.

I can picture the conversation regarding statue relocation if Ralph was still alive.

>>> "We've contacted Higgins Erectors and Haulers to move your statue, Mr. Wilson.  They were the low bid."

<<< "Nonsense.  Tell Brandon and Sean not to make any plans for Sundays in March.  They can rent a pickup truck and appliance dolly from Home Depot."

Billy Jo Hobert with a playbook in his hand

OR

Kyle Orton sliding 2 yds short of a first down

Kevin Kolb slipping on a gym mat would also work

That statue could be better described as a toilet (or target) for the birds, but I’d be good with that. 🤷‍♂️

Brilliant.

Maybe he'd even suggest loading it in the trunk of his Taurus for the drive over to new Highmark and offering some practice squad guys $20 each to move it.

Each? 🤨

GMs and HCs are hard to come by.  Practice squad guys are a dime a dozen.  One goes down, it's just "next man up!"  Your idea is better.  Ralph might have been cheap, but he was no dummy when it came to shekels.
