Landon Jackson looks like Temu Ryan Denney. On the other hand, VERY impressed with the 2 young DTs. If we hit on 2/3 of them that would be great.

Jackson doesn't look like NFL material.

I wonder, with all the comparisons to Crosby, would Landon Jackson still get drafted in the 3rd round if Crosby never existed?

It's kinda like all those "next Josh Allens" that have been drafted in the first round after 2018.  Pretty sure every last one of them has been garbage.  And that's because Allen was always the exception.

Trey Lance, anyone?

I realize it’s preseason but it’s concerning to see three trends carrying over into this season.

ZERO Sacks by our DL

3rd down conversions allowed

Inability to stop a screen

3rd down conversions are annoying because it was our issue last year, but without gameplanning, I can’t get too

upset.

DL showed me a ton of promise actually.  Bosa looked like a gamewrecker in limited snaps and Sanders/Walker tandem were consistently getting pressure… and quick.

My biggest concern after this game is CB2 with Hairston out a while and Safety depth.

Looks very raw for a 3rd pick. Right now he looks like he will be inactive on game days.

It took McDermott about 10 games in 2023 to fio on defence.  But if you remember after the game against Philly, their defence was playing at an insane level down the stretch

That's a good point.  Particularly the Chiefs and Cowboys games.

Tasker randomly circling parts of the field telling where his teammates from 30 years ago got injured.  Still better than Collinsworth.

That’s why I like Tasker.

He is bad… but in a good way.

I hope Trubisky and White can improve on that in the reg season

I take your point, but even so, I'd like to see a running game or something that can convert a couple 3rd downs.
