gobills404 Posted August 9 Posted August 9 This is just his not so subtle way of putting down his own QB in order to make himself look better. They need to do a 30 for 30 one day on the epidemic of diva WRs over the last 5 years or so. 1 2 Quote
Sojourner Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Doesn’t sound like anything. He’s giving Joe all the flowers to start that clip. his point at the end, at least imo, gravitates more to what Josh does for the offense as a whole; he’s the QB and a runner at all times. They game plan shutting out Chase/Higgins to in turn shut down Burrow. 4 Quote

JerseyBills Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Feel like he was just showing respect, still interesting comments, man i wish Josh had a Chase, Really feel Bills expecting a big jump from Keon , Palmer will be a beast , Samuel has the potential to make this unit extremely dangerous Shakir is a stud 1 1 Quote

Kaenon Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Yeah taking it the wrong way. Basically said Burrow's weapons gotta be game planned for, Allen is all the Bills got and they ain't got no weapons like us - so they gotta game plan against JA, not against JB. 4 2 Quote

NickelCity Posted August 9 Posted August 9 He definitely poorly phrased that teams have to game plan against Josh Allen versus game planning against the entire Bengals offense. Quote

No big deal, it’s nothing every player and coach in the league don’t already know. We’ll have to disagree on this one. Edited August 9 by julian 1 Quote
Bookie Man Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Of course they game plan against Burrow. Teams game plan against literally every QB. He's saying that you have to have a *special* game plan against Josh's skillset. Quote
Mikie2times Posted August 9 Posted August 9 I took it more as flowers to both. Burrow is so efficient at using his weapons teams game plan around the weapons. Josh is the weapon. You game plan around him. 1 1 Quote
Cheektowaga Chad Posted August 9 Posted August 9 He was trying to say teams have to game plan for everything joe burrow can do, especially with checks and audibles Vs Josh Allen only having to game plan against Josh Allen He was putting down the entire bills offense while calling Josh Allen dumb Turns out chase is actually dumb and had no idea how to phrase what he was trying to say 1 2 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Can you imagine Josh Allen with Higgins and Chase? It would seriously be hilarious. He would throw for like 600 yards every game. Joe Burrow is great, but let’s see what he would do throwing it to Curtis Samuel and company. 1 1 Quote
ganesh Posted August 9 Posted August 9 6 hours ago, BillsFan619 said: I think it would have made sense to say the other way. It is hard to game plan Allen as he is improvising on every play. Burrow on the other hand is a "timing" QB like Montana, Brady etc...and it is easier to game plan as he is not moving around so much 1 Quote
billsfanfrom83 Posted August 9 Posted August 9 In his attempt to give flowers to Burrow he missed and gave to Allen you game plan Burrows weapons but you focus on just Allen so in other words Allen does way more with way less 1 Quote

Not to derail this thread but with his continuing little injuries, I won't be surprised if Samuel doesn't make the team despite his high price tag. Either of Chase or Higgins would put this team over the top (literally and figuratively). 1 Quote
