ChevyVanMiller Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago (edited) The Bills do not have a place for him, but will he find a new NFL home? https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/45859478/bengals-release-veteran-rb-zack-moss-1-season Edited 19 hours ago by ChevyVanMiller Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago A 3rd round pick on a plodding RB with slow feet. Who would have thought that this guy would become a journeyman? 🙄 2 1 1 Quote
Maine-iac Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Not my cup of tea but he played well in Indy with a one cut and go style and a decent line. 1 Quote

Like what are we doing. 1 1 1 1 Quote

He's closer to being forced into retirement than he is signing with anyone. If it wasn't such a risky injury, he was healthy and a FA, then yes he would find a new home at the VERY least on some teams practice squad...but there are rosters he could easily crack. 1 Quote

Alphadawg7 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Moss isn't as bad as some make him out to be, but he also isn't anything special either. I think he has value to a team looking to add depth as a backup RB. The best thing going for him is that he played pretty well for Indy in 2023 and he can also catch, so I think someone will see value in bringing him in. 3 Quote
Dave_Bills Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago I was so pumped when we drafted him. I then realized I struggle to evaluate talent. Just too slow for the NFL game 2 Quote

This is both surprising and scary at the same time. I hope he retires and I wish him well. Edited 17 hours ago by Fan in Chicago 1 Quote

The Moss thing really bothered me because they used the 74th pick the year prior on a RB (who was fine and actually better). It didn’t make sense at the time and makes less sense in hindsight. I cringed but remembered that the Panthers used 1sts in 2006 AND 2008 on RBs. Not sure why you wouldn’t just add a late round guy or cheap FA as the 2nd guy? Winning the division 5 years in a row, appearing in two AFC title games, having the second highest winning percentage in the NFL the last 5 years… But yes, let’s lament Wyatt freaking Teller who has really taken the browns to the next level 4 3 Quote

In fairness, Christian Wilkins does that to several fans and teammates every game. 3 Quote

BillsFanForever19 Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I remember telling posters when he was doing well in Indianapolis in Taylor's stead it was only because the Indianapolis O-Line was stacked for Run Blocking and the Offense was schemed towards the Running game. This solidifies that. Quote
