Billsfed1 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Hypothetically speaking…if Ralph was a younger man and sold off the franchise to the Pegula’s, and was alive today to see the evolution of the organization in that time span, what do you suppose he would think? Personally, I think he’d be pleased with the ownership group. Not just what they’ve given us on the field, but all the off the field contributions to community as well. The team has enjoyed some pretty good success under Terry and Kim, and now we’ve got the new stadium to ensure longevity. All that’s missing at this point is the one thing Ralph tried to bring home and fell just a tad short, that elusive Lombardi. All things considered, i’d imagine he’d be pretty proud with these Bills. Snappysnackcakes Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago He would be extremely jealous of the contracts and guarantees that each and every player earns. Ralph, being an insurance guy, had a difficult time weighing salary decisions. You see, the first rule of finance is to mitigate risk, and I truly think he had a terribly difficult time dumping big $$’s into a few guys - early. I appreciate him being our founder, but he was a miserable owner - especially during early and mid ownership eras. May the old guy rest in peace and worry not about my opinion… 2 Quote

Bill from NYC Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago That's an easy one. He would ask Marv Levy what to do, and Marv would tell him to focus on the secondary, running backs, and special teams. Quote
SoCal Deek Posted 18 minutes ago Posted 18 minutes ago I don’t think things would be all that different if Ralph was still with us. I’m guessing he’d approve of the stadium deal with the County/State chipping in a good deal. And with the design itself not being over the top. He’d love having a quarterback locked in as the primary rainmaker. He’d also like the utility knife player extensions, investing in modest contracts as opposed to big splashes. But…I’m guessing he’d not have approved of the Von Miller deal whatsoever. Quote
