This week (so far) has been brutal in NJ. Temps around 100 and humid. I know a lot of people like summer, but I can't stand it. From a weather standpoint give me the fall and spring. Plus. the fall and spring offer the best times for sports. Football season and the NHL playoffs.

Gregg….it’s 75 and sunny here today….again. 😁 (In case you were wondering.)

Agree. It's the finality of so many memories, family, friends who have long since passed, but walked those corridor's, puked in the parking lot and pissed in those sinks.

Seriously, it was never the greatest stadium, but it was our home to the best, most loyal fans arguably in any sport. As well as some great players and great games.

Let's go Buffalo!!

So many great memories and black outs.

Players that need to bounce back!!!!

Milano, see if he can stay healthy and if he still has the ability to fly around. He was 2 steps behind last year.

Kincaid, can Dalton leave behind the sophomore slump and bounce back to rookie year numbers?

Health and ability of our Safeties!!!! I mean, Rapp is getting older coming off injuries. Hamlin is mediocre… Can Cole step up? Stay healthy?

I hate to rush through summer. I'm glad the weather allows for folks to be outside and active and enjoy the season.

But when it begins to wane and  training  camp begins that's  when I will begin to get excited

I enjoy camp battles and watching the roster come together

One step at a time.

Im TRYING to keep an even keel. Until circumstances prevent such restraint and I go ape **** with all our success

🙂

health Health HEALTH cannot be understated as a GOAL for the season 100%. It can spell the difference between success and failure

Well, I think the Bills are entering an era of seriously challenging to go to the superbowls, assuming the front office did not lay big eggs the last 2 drafts.

Yes they came close in the 2000 season and last year, but realistically you know we had flawed teams in those years, particularly on defense.

I just feel that the Bills become more balanced in a lot of ways. On offense, we have a superstar QB who has a lot of maturity now, and we can both run and pass effectively. On defense we finally made a lot of investment at the weakest area in McDermott's era and this is where the fruit of the investment determines the outcome; if we get some surprising early returns - in the form of steady improvement throughout the season, it could happen this year. Steady Improvement from the young guys on defense is what I'm looking for.

I am hoping for Growth for our Off and Def coordinators. Actually I expect it.

It's not an unfair ask either.

Sure would like the D line to show up against playoff contenders and prove their mettle

And carry that tail wind through the playoffs.

I can get stoked about the Def taking over a game that matters.

Going to be watching those rookies more than anyone , and Hoecht 😉

After the last 5 incredibly fun and entertaining seasons, the only reasonable expectation now is to go to the superbowl. Anything less than that will be a letdown. I will still enjoy the regular season and all the drama; but let's be honest, the Bills are at a level where anything less than the SB is familiar territory.

I am most excited about seeing how the draft class and offseason free agents improve the Defense. I am also interested in seeing the new offensive FA additions. I am somewhat indifferent about special teams.

Learning to win is one thing. Learning to win championship is another. And that includes both the players, coaches and the front office.

In Kelly's era when the Bills team came together, it took them 5 seasons (86 - 90) to reach the superbowl and that was with a team that had 2 first ballot HOF, and 2 additional HoF players with prime years. They were upset in one year but not a balanced enough team to win the others.

The current team fought for 5 to 6 years and probably could've gone to a superbowl once if not for the dominating Mahomes and Chiefs in the conference, but I don't think they were inline to win a superbowl in any of the year.

I like about the fact that the team is learning and adapting thru the struggle. McDermott is allowing younger minds to run the defense. Allen is digging deeper to narrow the gap between him and Mahomes. More balanced offensive attack. And the front office is coming around to invest heavy into D-Line. That's why I think the fruit of these effort is forthcoming.

In the AFC I think the Ravens have a better team than the Bills. The Bills do match up well with the Chiefs as the regular season proves but the Chiefs have to be in the Bills heads at playoff time. The Bengals if they rebound from last year seem to match up well vs the Bills as previous games between the teams prove. It will be a challenge to get to the Super Bowl. It is really going to depend on how much the Bills defense has improved as Beane made a lot of moves on that side of the ball this offseason. Of course, they also need to stay as healthy as possible as injuries can kill a season. That can be said for every team every season.

The Bills biggest weakness is defending the run and the Ravens strength is running the ball or the threat of running the ball. A lot of effort this year is getting better run defenders on the line (including bigger bodies). If you can stop the Ravens' run, you will see a much different Ravens' team, kind of like what the Steelers were able to do against them in the past with a really incomplete team.

How about a modest improvement with the vastly supplied and supposedly improved D?

Like a Top 10 finish?

And is it too much to ask NOT TO BE BOAT RACED DOWN THE FIELD ON THIRD DOWN ***** CONVERSIONS? How about get to the NFL middle from 3rd last?

This should put the Offence in far more optimal position to dominate games early and often, rather than second half comebacks.

THAT gets you Vince.

I am most excited about seeing how this Defense comes together. Namely the front 6 or 7. I think the additions of Landon Jackson, TJ Sanders, Deone Walker, and Joey Bosa, combined with the guys returning, could pay huge dividends for whichever group of LB's we have on the field. We also might finally have a DL that gets consistent pressure on QB's, especially when it matters most.
