Strong should not have been demoted when Tre came back. He had a good first game against the best team we would play the first 7 games. They should have kept him in until he proved he didn’t belong. Take this for what it’s worth, some dude just called into one bills live saying he talked to Max’s parents at the last game and when he asked them if/when Max would play, his pops said week 10.

Get 7 games under his belt in limited, then ramping up action. 

 

Be hopefully 100% and fresh for the playoff run. 

 

He looks like he's moving pretty well. Those feet are in fast forward!

Still not a lot of lateral movement going on there. Just the teeniest bit more than his first practice. They are really playing it safe, and it's probably going to be a while yet.

I would just by my amateur opinion say they probably will activate his 21 day practice window after the bye. That gives him 4.5 more weeks before he would have to come back.

Week 9 would be even better but I get it if they don't want his first NFL action to be against KC. But man that group of WRs going against our slow CBs is the stuff of nightmares.

I had that same thought.  You couldn't tell as much against Jax, due to the speed they have on defense, but I'm willing to bet we have the slowest secondary in the league, going against the fastest trio.  

On the flip side, I believe our dline can get some pressure against them, especially up the middle.  KC trading Thoney to the Bears, is still puzzling to me.

I sure hope so and does lineup with the opening of his 21-day window, immediately after the bye, giving him 2 full weeks of practice.  

If he's fully ready from a physical standpoint, he needs to be out there.  It's his coaches job to make sure he's ready from a mental standpoint.  He doesn't have to be perfect, let him make his mistakes now, so that he's more ready by playoff time.  I don't want the ultra conservative McD approach.  We need him now more than ever.  If we can't get him up to speed by January, it's more likely than not, that CB2 will kill our SB hopes.

Yup.....no doctor here either, but I am becoming very confident we will see him this year at some point.  I have maintained for a while that with the Bye Week where it is that there was no chance of them opening the 21 day window to make a decision before the Bye about a return.  Made no sense timing wise.  So, with the Bye week coming up, that will give him a couple more weeks to keep working, and then they will see where he's at.  I think they are slow playing this to make sure he comes back 100% when they do open that window and, from there, will use most of, if not all of those 21 day before they officially activate him.  So, in my opinion, they will be shooting to have him in a game sometime in mid-late November (Bucs, Texans, Steelers)

I'm telling you, my prediction is going to come true. Playoffs vs the Chiefs, Mahomes with the ball in the last minute, driving for the Chiefs win, pass picked off by Hairston and returned for the pick 6. Crowd goes wild. TBD implodes. Chris Brown throws out 7 different Mad Max references in 30 seconds. 

 

And I'm a fan who always predicts the worse, but this is going to happen
