Driving through Alabama easily going 80, near bumper to bumper in the passing lane, and couldn’t get over to get out of the passing lane. Had to laugh when I went under a bridge and cops are standing up on it shooting radar. I mean seriously, what’s the cutoff?

Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders' speeding citation for driving 101 mph this week wasn't the first time he was cited for speeding in Ohio this month.

According to a Medina [Ohio] Municipal Court record that was filed June 6, Sanders was pulled over by the Ohio State Patrol earlier this month. In that alleged violation, which took place June 5 in Brunswick Hills, Ohio, The Ohio State Patrol told WKBN-TV that Sanders was stopped for driving 91 mph in a 65-mph zone.

According to the record, Sanders failed to appear for an arraignment for that citation on Monday and faces $269 in fines and court costs. He was then stopped by an officer for the Strongsville (Ohio) Police Department at 12:24 a.m. Tuesday morning for driving 41 mph over the posted 60 mph speed limit in a black Dodge TRX truck.

 Do you know how many feet it takes to come to a full stop from 85 ? If you drive 85 , you should.

And when that deer jumps out  from the brush ? The lil old lady from Pasadena decides to brake or change lanes suddenly ! Do you swerve ? do you brake , do you swerve and brake so the poos thing doesnt ( hopefully come through your windshield ?)

I literally wrote its a bad look. I agree. I doubt this will affect his ability to be a leader in the locker room.  If he wins the job and wins game nobody will care. If he scrubs out of the NFL people will look back at the pre-draft dinners and the speeding tickets and say he was a bust waiting to happen.  

Still stunning a player that multiple teams took to dinner as if he was a first round prospect lasted until the 5th round.  Has to be more than just his play on the field. 

 

FYI I agree, it's a ludicrous speed but driving through western Ohio and Indiana is as bad as driving though Kansas.  

I should be a better person but I do enjoy driving fast.

As the draft process got closer.. and scouts start nitpicking players I'm not surprised he fell

 

He is a 6'1 pocket passer.. not thickly built.. not extremely mobile.. the NFL is moving towards quarterbacks who can play on rhythm or create.. that's not his game... He also doesn't have a crazy strong arm 

 

All of those reasons are things scouts will nitpicked to death.. Jackson dart, is bigger.. better athlete, a stronger arm with solid film ... After the season ended it's all those little things 

 

There's not a lot of 6 ft 1 tall pocket passers with limited mobility getting drafted in the first round... Even Baker Mayfield had maneuverability and a cannon

it’s ultimately a case of “this guy has flags for being self centered and clueless”

 

this isn’t proof he will fail but it’s surely another data point in the wrong column if you are invested in his success.
