pkwwjd Posted yesterday at 09:23 PM Posted yesterday at 09:23 PM I live in Northern NY, but our daughter lives in SC. We are planning on going to visit her and attend the Carolina game. Are there any Carolina Bills Backers groups that do a group of tickets? That would save us watching prices, etc. Plus we'd be sitting with other Bills fans. Any advice is great ... thanks! Quote

Kirby Jackson Posted yesterday at 09:50 PM Posted yesterday at 09:50 PM The Carolina Bills Backers Group is pretty large. I went to the last game there and it was a good time. Hyperbole aside, 60% of the stadium may be be Bills fans. That’s a realistic estimate. We may have 40,000 Bills fans there. There have been Nashville games that look like that but this game will rival that. I’d say AT LEAST 25,000. The point being, it won’t be hard to be around Bills fans. Sometimes the Backer Groups have blocks of tickets. You can also go through the Fans of Buffalo group. I try to get to a couple of road games a year and I wait until the morning of the game (usually) to buy my tickets. That seems to be when the pricing is best. The few weeks before the game and now are usually the worst IMO. 2 1 Quote
K D Posted yesterday at 09:53 PM Posted yesterday at 09:53 PM Half of the population of Charlotte is from WNY, I expect that will be a home game for us. Cheap taxes and better weather! 3 2 Quote
JESSEFEFFER Posted yesterday at 09:56 PM Posted yesterday at 09:56 PM Tavern on the Tracks which is 7 or so blocks from BOA stadium has my endorsement. I spent the day there with my wife watching the game in which Bacarri Rambo intercepted Aaron Rodgers twice to beat the Packers, December 14, 2014. Had a great time and they were a very active group. I'd bet they would plan big things for when the Bills actually come to town. You might want to contact their Bills Backer group. 1 1 Quote

My wife has already booked the hotel rooms and rental car for the opener, and she just keeps inviting family members! When she learned what ticket prices look like now she slowed down. Thank God for that! We will also be attending the “home game” (for us) in Atlanta. I thought that was my Bills schedule for the year, but my wife is from Rock Hills, SC, basically a suburb just south of Charlotte. She has a ton of family in the area. I’ve never seen an NFL game in Charlotte. If it’s anything close to the Nashville experience, I want to see it with my wife. I’ve been to I think 4 games in Nashville (nearby and my son lived there) but my wife never got to see that amazing scene. Tempting. Quote

Guffalo Posted yesterday at 10:30 PM Posted yesterday at 10:30 PM We just booked a place for the Carolina game, now just waiting for ticket prices to ease before we grab seats. Will keep checking here to see if group sales pop up Quote

Damian Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago There must be a lot of Bills fans coming. The tickets are running $1000 and up for lower sections, nosebleeds are $300ish. Quote

To the OP, you won’t have a tough time being around Bills fans. Besides, it will be a like a Bills home game as next to Miami, Carolina will be a close second for a home game feel. Those fans will have given up on their team by that time. Carolina made some small improvements in their team the second half of last season, but no competition for the Bills, or Bucs for that matter. 1 Quote

The Bills Backers of the Midlands (Columbia area) is organizing tickets + busses for both the Carolina and Atlanta games. i might take advantage of the ATL bus and save a hotel room. For the Panthers game, we have friends in Fort Mill, just south of the city, so we're going up on Saturday to "pre-game." Edited 6 hours ago by Southern McButterpants. Quote
RyanC883 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago my cousin lives in Charlotte. Tickets for that game are crazy right now, like $400 each! Prob because 1/2 the city is from WNY. Quote
JP51 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago tailgating is not what it is here... maybe fine a bar to pre and post game? Quote

The day I spent there I arrived early thinking parking would be a problem, so we opened the place up. Carolina had a home game then (Cam Newton had just been in the traffic accident) and their fans trickled in for their pregame meal and drinks. I think any downtown stadium has a tailgating situation that has severe limitations ="sucks." Quote
