Okay…some similarly old fan can correct me but I think it was a preseason game when James Harris was at QB and he took a quarterback sneak something like 98 yards for a touchdown. I believe it still may be the longest play in Bills history…but being a preseason game it doesn’t register. I think he did 2 or 3 QB sneaks at the end of the game, one of them for 50 yards +/- and the Bills scored. Here's what I can find on the game, which I remember watching on TV. Quote

It doesn't get a lot of conversation because of the Steelers game. Such an underrated and fun blip during the Drought years! Not only did they go on a 6 game winning streak but they were burying teams during that run Quote

Clinched a playoff spot which they hadn't been in since 1974. Stadium went nuts celebrating a return to the playoffs. They didn't clinch a playoff spot but were close. They laid an egg the next week in New England, then had to hang on for dear life against the 49ers in the rain, fog, and mud in San Francisco. I told my mother that right before the Montana Hail Mary at the end of the game, that if the Bills lost, I was throwing myself into the Christmas tree. Fortunately, the Bills, and the tree, survived. 1 Quote
Prospector Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) The comeback game against the Pats during our crappy years... I left Buffalo Wild Wings in Tennessee because we were getting smoked, then I had my father in law drive us back to finish the game... so glad we watched till the end! That was my superbowl... we finally beat Brady and the Pats Edited 2 hours ago by Prospector 1 Quote

I know they didn't win the division until they beat the 49ers, but I thought the win vs the Rams clinched at least a WC. It was 45 years so I could be wrong. Quote

I also met my first TBD poster in a crap bar in Kalamazoo Michigan for this game. If you're still here I don't remember your handle, I was formerly Kzoomike. We had so much talent on this roster. Every time a thread like this comes up this is the first game I think of. Th results of that season notwithstanding, the feeling in the crowd for that opener was one of the best I remember being a part of. 1 Quote

Completely irrelevant game that nobody outside of the greater Buffalo and Cincinnati areas saw. But lots of fun to go back and watch. Was this the “Why So Serious” game? Quote
BananaB Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Gotta go with a game I made it to Buffalo. There was a game years ago we played Philly at home. Close game, came down to the end and Bills forced Philly offside so they didn’t have to punt the ball back. Stadium was loud as *****! Edited 1 hour ago by BananaB Quote

Don’t remember the year, probably early-mid 2010s. Super Mario made the strip sack in the end zone to seal the game. Packers were really good that year and beating them was awesome, especially given how many Packers fans I work with. Was going to say this one. 2014, the Bacarri Rambo game. Jordy Nelson dropped a sure-fire touchdown and we sacked Rogers later that drive. That was my first-ever regular season home game at the Ralph and it was a blast. Here’s one from that same season - Bills/Bears Week 1, 2014. Fred Jackson has a monster run/stiff arm in overtime to set up the game-winning field goal. Edited 1 hour ago by Roundybout Quote

I'll start by nominating our home game against Miami in the 2002 season. Ricky Williams running wild, the snow coming out of nowhere, Bledsoe and Moulds taking over, Jim Kelly running up and down the sidelines in jubilation. Just a great, fun game all around. I have a great one. Buffalo versus NYG, opening night on Sunday Night Football on TNT in 1996. Game was not that memorable. Bills won 23-20 with an OT field goal by Christie. Just remember it because I watched with my dad and we celebrated once the kick went through. And yes, I was at the home game against Miami. Before I even got to my seat Williams had scored and it was 7-0. Once Moulds caught that TD pass I remember the PA announcer playing “Let it Snow” as a very light snowfall started moments earlier. The entire stadium was signing let it snow. It was a great moment and a textbook example of the amazing game experience for fans in December Edited 1 hour ago by JohnNord 1 Quote

I was downtown at a bar with some friends, that were not Bills fans. I was assuming an ass kicking was in order and had been bracing myself for the 💩 I was going to be getting that day. By the end, they were like “Wow, the Bills are legit this season.” Little did we know… Quote

That was the WORST professional football game of all time. The Winning QB, Derek Anderson went something like 2-17 of 26 yards. Quote

Namath said after the Super Bowl that the one win Bills team had a better defense than the NFL champ Colts. Resulted in him getting a standing ov in next year's game at War Memorial. I was around in that era and let suggest it wasn't Namath's comment re the Bills that gave him a standing ovation, all around the AFL that year the Jets were treated like conquering heroes in every AFL stadium they went to. I agree. The primary reason was the legitimacy he gave the AFL with the Super Bowl win. But his pro Bills comment didn't hurt, and we had a lot of hurt at that time. 1 Quote
Toomstone.Part.Duex Posted 33 minutes ago Posted 33 minutes ago The "Just give it to them" game. I remember Moulds having this one handed catch that was mind blowing. Quote
