You are right on the your first point. I certainly do not know him or his family personally. But i do a little about  rural life ans traditional family values.

I wouldn't call @Redblood's point of view outdated bullsh*t.   Trust and jealousy are innate human instincts.   If it were my fiance doing intimate scenes for film I would certainly understand and be accepting of that part of it but it would be hard to stop those thoughts from creeping into my brain...what it there is more going on there.   Most Hollywood relationships start up on set after all.

This is the bottom line. Everybody is different, and if Josh is comfortable that’s all that matters. Period.  There is no point in anyone trying to pin their personal fears or concerns on his relationship.

I really wish it was that cut and tried. Human emotions are evert changing and they ebb and flow. I wish i had a dollar for everytime a had a client that was okay with a situation that has occurred within the relationship until the next session when we were once again back to stage 1.  But you are correct that my personal concerns profits any of us very little (if any).

I'm afraid I very profoundly disagree. And I think societal pressures are a large part of the problem.
