I like it. I mean can't be worse than the production Cooper gave us right?

I mean it can definitely be worse. I know everyone wants to blame bad QB play on Moore's lack of production, and I'm sure that's part of it, but he also plays small and does a poor job making himself an available target. Right now he's more an athlete trying to play football.

Woo hoo! I hoped this would happen.

Im always for taking swings at young, former high draft picks. I was a big fan of us acquiring Corey Coleman a few years ago, even though that didn’t work, and I’m a big fan of this.

WGR will spin this into a win for themselves.

”If we hadn’t have whined about a WR they’d never have signed him!”

WGR picking up the portion of the salary over the unrestricted free agent tender....😉

Does this mean that the guys on WGR were right and Beane was wrong? 😂

No.. they were talking about Draft..  and what we could do and not do in draft..  viewers pretty split on how that all went down.. im not going round 9 lol

No risk. Good move. There is untapped potential. Guy has something to prove. If he complains you cut him and he probably never gets another job. I think he will play nice for a year to parlay a big contract playing with Allen. Hired gun to try and help us win a championship. If I’m the Bills I use him as a punt returner as well.

Now Beane seems like a fool for how he behaved on wgr…clearly he felt like he needed another receiver, yet attacked the radio hosts for suggesting as much…

To avoid this situation, all he had to say was that the offseason wasn’t over, and that they are always looking to upgrade…Unfortunately his emotions got the best of him…

Curious to see what Beane discloses about this signing.  Moore visited day after draft concluded.  It appears this was in the works at least this past weekend if not longer.

Yes.  Always a good idea to tip your hand to everyone else what you plan on doing pre, during and post draft to maximize the value you get.

They interviewed Moore before the draft and no one even knew about it anywhere.  That's good GMing.

EDIT:  And now in hindsight, it makes his remarks even more valid.  They were complaining that "you don't value WR the same as other teams" but was talking to a player at that position to try to help the WR room prior to the draft and signed him.  This is a a double "STFU" from the interview and signing stance.

Better than Tavon Austin and Ricky Proehl Jr?

Not sure what the point is here - but Moore can add something to this offense that we do NOT have, and we needed another capable receiver.

This signing will be as important as any addition the Bills make this year. Moore is a victim of truly crappy QBs and offensive systems. Look at what has become of the QBs and OCs on Cleveland and NY. Josh will enable Moore to blossom in Buffalo. He is a speedy receiver with good hands and gets separation. He had over 60 receptions with 3 different QBs last season. I’m predicting upwards of 80 this coming year.

Genuine question.

Austin had good experience, arguably better coming in than Moore.

Proehl had a lot of raw unknown talent.

I wonder if this guy can make the roster? Would we keep 4 WR's and only 5 WR?

I don't understand the complaints here. A wr in his mid-20s with high end speed. He's not Jefferson or Chase... but his 61 catches would have been 2nd on the team last year by a wide margin. Nice add at a weak position for a relatively cheap price.

We should have 5 for sure - and he's a good 5th.
