Bruffalo Posted yesterday at 09:33 PM Posted yesterday at 09:33 PM Decent signing since they didn’t get anyone in the draft. Lots of upside, been with bad QBs and orgs his whole career. Fast. Outside and slot ability. Big fan of this. 4 2 1 1 1 Quote

Logic Posted yesterday at 09:34 PM Posted yesterday at 09:34 PM (edited) Beane going ham on those WGR guys and saying that "bitching about WR is the dumbest argument he's ever heard" and then immediately turning around and signing Elijah Moore is one of the funniest things that's ever happened. As far as pure football: I like the signing. Moore had 500ish yards last year. He's a fast, functional NFL WR with separation ability, and is just 25 years old (somehow). I feel he rounds out our WR corps nicely. Edited yesterday at 09:35 PM by Logic 5 1 10 3 1 Quote
The Firebaugh Kid Posted yesterday at 09:36 PM Posted yesterday at 09:36 PM Absolutely love it. The kid has real talent. Blessing to get somebody like that at this stage in April. 1 minute ago, Logic said: Beane going ham on those WGR guys and saying that "bitching about WR is the dumbest argument he's ever heard" and then immediately turning around and signing Elijah Moore is one of the funniest things that's ever happened. It’s straight up hypocritical. Just be real, the board didn’t fall the way you thought it would. Maybe he was frustrated they didn’t get a receiver too…. 3 3 1 Quote
MikePJ76 Posted yesterday at 09:36 PM Posted yesterday at 09:36 PM This means the bills now have four wr taken in the second round of the draft in their wr room. 3 Quote

I mean it can definitely be worse. I know everyone wants to blame bad QB play on Moore's lack of production, and I'm sure that's part of it, but he also plays small and does a poor job making himself an available target. Right now he's more an athlete trying to play football. 1 1 Quote
JoeF Posted yesterday at 09:38 PM Posted yesterday at 09:38 PM Welcome Elijah. His wife must have liked Buffalo... but then again, who doesn't??? Now we all need to work on Stephanie LaChance (Mitch Marner's wife) ......Josh and Hailee are key to this one. Gotta get this young man on the Sabres. 3 1 Quote
GunnerBill Posted yesterday at 09:39 PM Posted yesterday at 09:39 PM Yea I like it. I think he gives you depth behind Shakir and he is versatile he can do some boundary stuff (although he isn't quite your pure outside vertical guy). I know he hasn't done it a ton in the league but he did some return stuff at Ole Miss too. So that gives him some ST value. 3 1 Quote

Roundybout Posted yesterday at 09:40 PM Posted yesterday at 09:40 PM Woo hoo! I hoped this would happen. Im always for taking swings at young, former high draft picks. I was a big fan of us acquiring Corey Coleman a few years ago, even though that didn’t work, and I’m a big fan of this. 1 2 1 Quote
Mango Posted yesterday at 09:41 PM Posted yesterday at 09:41 PM It's fine. I'm optimistic. But I am hesitant if the impact. I'm not confident that we'll get much use out of him in the same way we didn't get any use out of Yeldon, Hines, Knox, Kincaid, Samuels, MVS etc. We've struggled with some of these role player/definitive skill set types and getting them involved early/often. Rooting for this one to be different but I am cautious. 1 1 Quote

BuffaloBillyG Posted yesterday at 09:42 PM Posted yesterday at 09:42 PM He's got some skill. I he does bring some nice speed. Good depth and an able spot starter should injury strike. I would hope Laviska rented and didn't purchase something. Quote

Cheektowaga Chad Posted yesterday at 09:42 PM Posted yesterday at 09:42 PM I actually wonder if beanes out burst was more a negotiation tactic, I wonder if they have lost players because the local radio and fan base was all about wr Like if him going on radio saying they are cool at wr gets Moore to take 2 million less vs. Moore and his agent hearing all about how much of a need this is and not budging from 2 million more than what they would actually accept 1 2 Quote
