Chargers, Eagles, Steelers, Texans is a brutal final stretch. Plus the Browns, who always give them a tough game and beat them earlier this year. I think it actually stinks for us, because if we get the 2 seed and Ravens get the 7 seed, that’s a tough wild card matchup. Understand it can happen but I would be shocked if Baltimore misses. Assuming Lamar stays healthy. 3 Quote

I will say, all of the teams scare me to some degree. The Broncos have been getting better and are well coached. If the Dolphins or Bengals sneak in, they can easily be the opponent for the #2 seed which is were the Bills are most likely to fall. Bills always beat the Dolphins but given enough at bats one of those close games can go the other way. Quote

Bernard, Milano, and Johnson. Taylor Rapp was injured early in the Baltimore game and Cole Bishop got most of the snaps. Rapp has had an excellent season for us. Bishop was welcomed to the league in that one. Also Amari Cooper hadn't joined the team yet. 3 Quote

I am not one-hundred percent sure if the all caps and all small letters for teams is home and away, since Buffalo would be wrong too (but I see he did edit his post for KC). Fast, on the small side overall, cohesive zone pass defense. Not built to stop a Mack truck coming through the line. I don't think we'll face the Chiefs until the AFC championship assuming both teams make it that far, but I sure do hope some other team takes on Baltimore for us. By the way, in last night's game there was a Poona Ford sighting. He was playing very well for the Chargers after what Joe Buck called a wasted year in Buffalo. What happened that held him back here? He looks like the big body athlete we never seem to have at DT. I don’t know why, but Ford was just not good here, I think everyone left that relationship disappointed. 2 Quote
ColoradoBills Posted November 29 Posted November 29 Miami did themselves no favors last night. They are now behind the Colts who beat them earlier in the season. Colts play the Patriots Sunday. 1 Quote

Sweats Posted November 29 Posted November 29 I just love watching Miami implode........they've got the skills, the players and the talent to compete every year and they can never put it all together. That's on coaching. Quote

That's on coaching. I actually disagree. They have a lot of name players that play for themselves. They need more Calais Campbells on their team and less flash. I mean you could say coaching for not gelling them together but their a very weak minded team. The most mental fortitude I saw out of them was the 2nd Bills game where they kept coming back on the Bills to just fall short. Quote

That's true, but what happened between last year and this year? They were leading in almost every category last year, Tua was being considered for MVP, Hill and Waddle were/are arguably the best WR duo in the league, Achane and Monstert were running through people. Yes, this year they have been underwhelming to say the least, but the talent and skills are there.......the only thing i can think of for their demise is that the rest of the league has caught onto them and aren't falling for their "gadget" plays like years past. Or.... They have just completely given up.........the talent and skills are there, maybe the heart isn't. Quote

Miami's playoff chances took a hit but they still played pretty well from behind after Green Bay stomped them in the first half. There's a pileup of mediocre teams at the end of the AFC playoff list, and Miami could still pull it out. But not if they can't learn to play in the cold, not with the three other teams in their division in cold-weather cities. 1 1 Quote

The only reason I'd want to skip KC is to avoid the potential humiliation of being 0-4 in the playoffs against them. Outside of that, I'd rather play them than play the Ravens. No matter how good the D looks during the regular season, I don't trust them to be able to stop the run in the playoffs. Last year we were screwed over by injuries, but it's not like the did any better against the Bengals in 2022 or the Chiefs in 2023. And if they commit to slowing down Henry, Lamar can torch them over the top. He's been both dangerous & efficient passing this year. I know it was only week 4, but it wasn't just a loss, it was a blowout. We didn't even look like we belonged in the same conversation as them. Quote

I do think part of it is teams are getting very familiar with the whole Shanahan/mcdaniel scheme and it’s making things more difficult. Edited November 30 by Generic_Bills_Fan Quote
djp14150 Posted Monday at 05:24 AM Author Posted Monday at 05:24 AM Updated the standings… as for the NFC… it appears to be East - Eagles North - Lions South - Falcons/ Bucs are both B6-6 but falcons seep H2H so bucs must finish ahead saints are within 2 games so it’s possible West — up for grabs between all 4 teams the 3 WC appear to be 3 of Lions, Vikings, Packers, and Commanders. If these faulter then it opens up for TB/ ATL and west 2nd place teams 1 Quote
