Why not both

I wouldn't be surprised if Worthy goes as early as to the Dolphins at 21.   Even if he goes in the 2nd,  the Bills would have to blow their draft pick load to get Odunze and wouldn't have much left in this draft or the next to use to acquire another 2nd.

The Dolphins have so many other dire needs, they would be insane to take a WR at 21...

McDaniel loves him though. He was like a Swifty fangirl over him at the pro day. I can absolutely see it.

Probably,  but it seems like they're interested.  I can kind of see the reasoning.  Put three guys out there with that kind of speed and it puts all kinds of stress on the opposing defensive backfield.  Most teams aren't going to be able to cover all of them at once.

I’ll put this in the rumors thread.

We're drafting Rome Odunze or Xavier Worthy. Write it down in ink.

Trade up for Odunze or stand pat/slight move for Worthy.

I'll take it.

Odunze gives us the prototype WR1 to pair with Allen for the next five years, at least.

Worthy gives us effective outside speed at WR that we've never had for Allen.  Brown was good, but towards the end of his career and Foster was fast, but not very good.

Good to get confirmation on this as I suspected they didn’t bring him in. Further shores up that he’s not their guy imo

If the rumor about his low intelligence is true, it makes sense that we wouldn't be high on him. Our offensive system requires smart WRs that know how to read a defense and get to where they're supposed to be. It's why I think Beane will do everything he can to trade up for Odunze if he gets past pick #7 or so. He fits the type of prospect this regime has drafted in the 1st round, and happens to have some elite traits that you don't find at the bottom of the 1st round.

and to me WR isn't a trade up worth position, yes Julio Jones is a great example but he's the exception not the rule. Toss in did he ultimately win the Falcons a championship? No.

Honestly I'm a wait and see approach, obviously I'd love Brian Thomas Jr but he'll likely go before us but don't feel he's so much better than some of the guys behind him. Yet think a guy like AD Mitchell's stock falling and could be there, if not hope we land a quality pass rusher if not trade back and hope to get a Legette in the early 2nd and get another pick that can help. As we aren't just a WR away, we have plenty of holes on the depth chart and some of them like DL don't have as great of prospects as WR does. Also the idea of two WRs baffles me especially early, how many passes are we expecting these kids to get? As to me Kincaid, Shakier, Cook and Samuel are going to get the majority of looks this year. I'm guessing the rookie might get 80-100 targets at most. Sure I could see taking a flier on a kid in Round 6 or 7 that could also pose as a return specialist and develop yet not likely starting material.

I feel the guy the Bills, not fans, Want is Franklin

I spoke too soon, according to Pelissero the Bills did not have him for a 30, but did have a private workout with him

Quote

[Legette] had roughly a dozen top-30 visits and did a private workout for the Bills, who just traded Stefon Diggs to Houston and own the No. 28 pick.

No surprise as some have compared him to Josh Allen and we all know who's running that team. That said would think the Patriots only ones that would trade down toss in with talk Daniels upset with the Commanders Maye might not be there at 3.

Yep. That was a riot.

I've only been to two TBD tailgates, and weirdly enough, I didn't meet any of the people that I most often converse with on here. Both times, I figured I'd be putting a lot of faces to names, and both times, that didn't really wind up being the case.

Then the one time I finally thought "now here's someone I know!", it turned out be a woman who was...not you. Subterfuge!

One of these days...

I don't see Josh Allen at all with Drake Maye.  He seems like a Justin Herbert clone who has T-Law scrambling ability.

He was higher on my list pre-combine. I first pegged him as our pick back when the season ended.

I think Franklin has lost some steam with his poor combine (even if he was sick) and his light frame. I think there’s a better chance of him being available at #60 (albeit only a slight chance) than the Bills picking him at 28 (no chance)

Blink once if you have a source and twice if you're just feeling saucy. I won't ask any followup questions, I just need to know whether I should pour a celebratory beer.

Did I hear a celebratory beer???  🍺

I don’t “study” any of these guys, but I think I should watch a little more of Odunze.
