He turns 30 in a few months though. I have no idea why they played hard ball with him last offseason, which pissed him off so much that he sat out games (though he clearly got over it), just to give him a record setting deal less than 8 months later. I guess I don’t see the benefit in that. I would have given him this deal last year, is my point.
