The guy on the left really wanted Minkah Fitzpatrick and the others, Josh Rosen. Exactly why I cringe with secondhand embarassment at the way most of you guys have reacted the last couple days.

X is the number 1 downloaded app in the world.

It's gained 14% increase in users in the last 3 months.

It's the ultimate beacon of unfiltered uncensored material in the world.

I love it.  I never used Twitter, I now use X and I pay the subscription for it.

Why a sane person willingly would spend time on a platform like Twitter or X is beyond me. Talk about about wasting your life.

Yeah, why would anyone want to get instantaneous information about their favorite things that's uncensored.

Sounds terrible.

That ceiling... is this a house in Lancaster?

Gotta be Pickerington, OH. As a native Ohioan I can tell you that’s a common ceiling pattern for a drywall ceiling. It’s called stippling and is done with a small mop while a final coat of joint compound is still wet.

Yup.

Listen, we all get our pre-draft crushes and interests…but if the 2018 draft showed us anything, it’s that when the pick is made: that’s our guy and whatever was said about them or previously projected is rendered meaningless.

Instead of choosing to bash the picks because random talking heads think it’s an overvalue or a miss is simply a waste of breath. Some players are deemed future HOFers without taking a snap while others are already in the dog house.

Let’s let these guys get to Buffalo and show what they’ve got before we claim victory or defeat. Enjoy it! Watch the highlight video and get hyped. Trust in Beane. Go Bills!

I don't particularly want to get into a back-and-forth about Elon Musk here and derail this thread (though we can discuss it in DMs if you want), so I'll just say:

I couldn't disagree more with...pretty much everything you just said. Not a Musk fan. To each their own.

Musk fans don't want to admit he's just another Edison/Jobs. He merely pushed an idea in stuff he has a little knowledge in and takes all the credit. He took daddy's money, bought into PayPal, hostile takeover and some sabotage later he sells and pockets money. He's a snake and people think he's a genius because he paid people to figure out how to land a rocket and put cameras on a car. His fans think he reinvented the wheel when really he just kind of directed a team to add cool features to existing tech; and his products are Trump Steak level good. Ford and Toyota are going to bury Tesla within 10 years and turn it into a niche vehicle.

That said, my personal comp for Coleman is Pukka Nacua and if Franklin is just misunderstood then we should try to get him. Gabe was drafted late and blossomed into a decent pass catcher...when he actually catches the ball...and Franklin is at least better than Gabe out of the gate.

Go Bills!

I swear the pause between Josh and Allen was an eternity that night. Nope, we all just collectively slowed down time lol

I tend to agree. But it’s like a “damned if you do and damned if you don’t.” People are killing Brian Thomas for being quiet and laid back and maybe not really an alpha. The flip side is Diggs who is emotional and a diva. I prefer Thomas’ attitude, but there seems to be pretty conflicting opinions on this.

Diggs is the classic definition of passive aggressive.

Bezos started selling books online and  since has changed the way commerce works worldwide.  His company is part of regular life for pretty much every consumer.

Musk makes cars that Americans don’t want to buy and if it went out of business tomorrow , consumers wouldn’t care.  Speaking of that, Tesla lost $95 billion value in 2 weeks.  He turned Twitter into a money loser, busy running it into the ground.

it’s what’s happens when you turn down that corrupt govt money. They take it personally.

That is EXACTLY how I responded and I'll never regret it.

At THAT TIME, Josh was a wild one in a million project type guy and I definitely did NOT want him....or Lamar Jackson, out of ALL the big name QB draftees that year!

We hit on a lottery ticket with Josh so all is well that ends well.  Doesn't make the pick better AT THE TIME however.

Yeah, but by that logic you'll always take the safe bet, a path that ultimately leads to mediocrity. In other words, sometimes it IS the right move to take what appears to be a gamble at the time, as the Allen pick shows. That pick WAS the right move at the time.
