Likelihood is a kicker over anyone else due to the numbers game. Aside from Dante Hall or Devin Hester, I can’t think of many guys who were consistently capable of winning that weekly award for several years. What is “player of the week” criteria? Also, I think this speaks to Mahomes’s consistency. At his best, or when he's on, Josh is as good as anyone, and can do things no other QB can, including Mahomes.
