If we circle back to WW II one will find much of the devastation attributed to Hitler. We certainly had a hand in it as well. Why did the Jewish people flee to Palestine after the holocaust? I understand it was under British rule at the time but still if it's so unsafe then why go there? Unless the plan was to colonize all along. Before the war in 1948 Jewish people and Muslims got along quite well they even babysat each other's children.
