Surely the tapes will just confirm what we've been told for two years. That J6 was a carefully coordinated assault on our democracy by violent insurrectionists.  That's why the public hasn't been allowed to see the vast majority of the footage. Because it will just confirm what we've already been told.  Its all just a big waste of time.

 

 

There is only one certainty coming tonight.  The corporate media in unison will tell us that its a big nothing burger. It may very well end up being an actual nothing burger. It could show our government agencies involved in egregious misconduct. It could be somewhere in between.

At one point, the officers are seen walking Chansley past seven other police officers milling around outside the Senate chamber, who barely give him a second look.
 

Then they escort him to various entrances of the chamber which appear to be locked. Eventually they help him open a door, and he enters the chamber.

 

Chansley, a 33-year-old naval veteran from Arizona, has been jailed for almost four years for “obstructing an official proceeding.”

 

In a jailhouse interview played by Carlson he says: “The one very serious regret that I have [is] believing that when we were waved in by police officers that it was acceptable.

 

”In a statement the Capitol police suggest that one of the officers with Chansley was trying to “de-escalate” the situation because he was outnumbered. 
 

But that does not explain why Chansley, who was unarmed, was able to walk past seven more officers without being apprehended.

“Not one of them even tried to slow him down,” says Carlson. 

 

He “understood that the Capitol police were his allies. . . . If he was in the act of committing such a grave crime, why didn’t the officers standing right next to him place him under arrest?”

Pretty clear this footage should have at least been made available to the defendants. Possible exculpatory evidence being withheld would normally set democrats off. Now maybe in the full context they still get found guilty but this is the sort of thing the justice systems in the west tend to be finicky over. 

 

But since the democrats have been entirely overrun with bolsheviks at the national level, the administrators that belong to them at the justice department and in the judiciary more closely resemble the Cheka than any true law enforcement or criminal justice system.

What else would they say?  We only allowed about 20% of the story to be revealed and left out the 80% that didn't support our case?  That's what prosecutors do and that's why they attempt to suppress and challenge defense motions and arguments to submit and include evidence.  Add to that a district court judge (who's term expires in about 2 months) hearing the cases that shared their political views and denied almost every defense motion in every case and there you have it.
