Election Week Malfunctions, Anomalies etc...

Recommended Posts

The GOP said they learned their lesson and have an army of lawyers ready to combat these types of things in 2022.  This could be the first test of that today.  What is going on in AZ could be completely innocent.  Nobody knows right now.  The problem is that's happening in Maricopa county...... again.

Is anyone prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt?  They certainly haven't earned it.

20% of machines not tabulating in Maricopa County is an absolute joke.

“Threat to Democracy” ?….

That threat is the justifiable suspicions Americans are starting have of our elections due to issues like this and the absurd notion it takes days/weeks to count ballots.

Im starting to hear this from a lot of normie, non-MAGA folks … myself included.

Trump lost, he was a clownshow post-election…. That was 2020…  But now I’m starting to believe we have serious election integrity issues.

The DOJ has no right to oversee elections.

Isn’t it strange that the same corrupt urban centers that stopped counting in the middle of the night when trump was leading are having issues again? What a coincidence!

People need to chill. It’s mid-morning MST. Many, many hours to get problems fixed and ballots submitted and counted. A glitch is not a conspiracy. That goes for both sides. Every election we have those “long lines, people unable to vote” stories, and usually from the Democratic side. And by the time the polls close it’s all fine.
Have you seen some of our election workers in a place like Anthem (read: retirement community) AZ? Do you really think they’re all tech wizards?

Its “normal” to have to wait days/weeks for election results.

It’s “normal” to have 20% of machines not working on Election Day.

All normal guys, chill out …

all part of the new wave of “setting up your election challenge long before we even know the results”

It was overblown then, it’s way overblown now.
Plus: the best thing that ever happened to Anthem retirement community. Combines their two favorite activities: complaining and standing in unnecessary lines (ever heard of early voting you people with absolutely nothing else to do with your time other than bothering doctors offices and scheduling pickle ball courts?)

Waiting in line for a long time is different than being asked to surrender your ballot so it can be submitted and counted later by....who knows?

How can 1/5 of the voting machines not be working in a county where 4/5 of election workers are 80 years old?
Beats me. In the early internet days there was supposedly a code word for this: PEBCAK

“Problem Exists Between Chair And Keyboard.” Yesterday’s PEBKAC is today’s Arizona/Florida poll worker.

Embarrassing how bad the voting process is in 2022.

it’s not conspiracy and collusion as much as utter and complete incompetence.

American idol can tabulate millions of fan votes real time but the collective governments across the country are completely inept at doing so in a timely manner every couple years…. 🤦‍♂️

Now THIS is a good point. Estonia - Eseffintonia! - votes by internet. Meanwhile we take a week and a half to count scantrons.

Are you saying they let elderly people set up the voting machines there? Or are the elderly election workers just checking registrations and directing people where to go? Seems a bit stupid to let anyone, let alone elderly people, tinker with a voting machine on election day, doesn't it?
