We need another WR bad

Davis wasn't the reason we lost last night.  Oh, wait a minute, we actually won by 10 points.  In all seriousness, he had a rough game, couple of drops, stupid penalty.  He's a very good #2.  Remember, he was hurt and basically gutted through a couple of games.  He also comes up big in big games.   We don't need receivers.  Maybe some backup help on the OL and safety depending on how serious Poyer's injury is.

WR with what players are active & those on the PS is one of the strongest rooms the Bills have RB is the weaker of the 2 !!

Are you serious? Outside of Diggs who else has proven to be a consistent player.

Hes been targeted twice as many times as he catches the ball. So we’re basically crossing our fingers every time Allen looks his way. He makes some good plays but we need more consistency out of him or gotta find someone else who can bring in more receptions.

He opened with a very good game against LA, missed Tenn with ankle injury, shouldn't have played against Mia and Balt because he was obviously not close to 100%, came back with monster game against Pitt and very good game against KC. Admittedly, he had a poor game last night but there's no way they are going to attempt to pick someone up to replace Davis as starter (including OBJ coming off ACL tear).  Not going to happen.

He’s a big play guy. He deserves his opportunity but we can’t wait on him while chasing a Super Bowl, we need reinsurance if he can’t pull it together. He’s around 50% catch rate this year and also for his career. You can say he was injured but in those games he played he had drops and that got nothing to do with a bum ankle.

Allen is playing out of his mind for the most part and besides Diggs no one has truly been reliable.

Ideally a number 2 is steady, but to date Gabe is just not.  It's too much boom or bust right now.

I usually bash and laugh at people with stupid overreactions after bad games but this is not that. This is legit.

Gabe is inconsistent and mostly a deep threat. McKenzie is a gadget player and not a starter. And we have zero depth.

This team needs more at WR. And that's nothing new, was one of our biggest needs in the off-season and we did nothing.

Meanwhile, we have the league best passing offense

The chiefs lead in ppg and just traded multiple picks for a WR. What is your point?

Outside of Diggs do we have very little at the skill positions? Yes. Do we have zero depth at WR? Yes.

Than it's probably a good idea to add one to maximize our chance of winning a SB, even if we are the favorites regardless.

We need to use more of the receivers currently on the team, our slot guy (although I like him a lot) isn’t consistent enough, even though he has four (4) TDs on the season, he isn’t drawing coverage off Davis and Diggs enough, we need to mix things up, more than just using Diggs from the slot, Cook, Singletary, Knox & Shakir are currently way under used in passing situations, which is almost always, being that Dorsey stops using the run whenever it’s working, on top of all of that, player execution is NOT up to par. The good thing is that we have a team, GM, coaches on down that are reflective enough to know when they are under performing, which is amazing in itself, being that we are 6-1 and pretty much feared though out the league, talk about first world problems, 😂👍

GO BILLS!!!

My point:  our initial depth was better than everyone thought.  We lost our #4 and #5 wr for several weeks.  Our #2 wr missed a game and was banged for parts of 2 others.  And we still have the top passing game.  Not a top passing game.  THE top passing game.

sure, we could maximize our chance of winning this year at the expense of sustained success.  We may do that.  We may not.  Either way- it’s not necessary to win a title.  And if we do mortgage more of the future for a increased chance this year, a Lombardi isn’t guaranteed.

It’s a crapshoot either way.  A move this year might help us.  It could also cost us.

He’s has several drops this season. It’s concerning.

Oh, I'm sure you have something to back that up like dropped pass stats..

Hint: Davis is 102 in number of drops (3) and is 69th in drop % (4.8%)

I'm sure SF is just chomping at the bit to get rid Kittle and Deebo. Gotta imagine DJ Moore, DK Metcalf, Adam Thielen, and Cooper Kupp are also on the chopping block as they're worse than Davis in this area.

Never understood why people make up bald faced lies.

No we don't. We need OL help. That's our Achilles heel. A veteran S if Poyer is going to miss time. We don't need anyone to takes snaps from Davis. The OP suggests otherwise while ignoring the fact that he missed time and wasn't 100% for much of the season so far. Allen wasn't at his best, but he was harrassed by the pass rush all night.

Lol! It’s not just Davis it’s McKenzie too. Both have not lived up to expectations. Find a better slot guy or find a better guy for the outside, either will help.

He is very Jekyll and Hyde to this point…. Still lacks the consistency you want out of a 1B receiver.

For you. He’s a bit like Knox was early on, and I like how that is turning out. I was higher than most on Knox, too. (Believe me, I’m wrong a lot too.)  Davis will get it all together.
