Top 10 Herd Hierarchy following Free Agency

This guy did a complete 180 on Josh Allen. Guys like Stephen A Smith and Skip Bayless try to avoid talking about Josh Allen. Bayless is butthurt Allen made Mayfield look like a pop warner QB and refuses to acknowledge how much better Allen is compared to Mayfield.  Shortly after Allen made the top 100 players in the NFL, he quickly changed his tune

Cowherd was a radio guy here in Portland before he left for ESPN. Grew up near Seattle and was a Mariners fan. I think he has gotten worse with each career move. He was tolerable in the early days of ESPN, now he just likes to hear himself talk.  He thinks he is smarter than his audience and fancies himself as a bit of an intellectual.  Like others have said he is a jump on the bandwagon guy.

I feel like Cowherd doesn't even believe what he says. It changes from week to week,

Bingo...or he words things to always be right...."I think the Bills will win the Super Bowl, but don't be surprised if another team wins the Super Bowl"... then at the end of the season says he was right about his prediction

He's been a huge Allen and organization supporter for a couple years now. When we were bad he said so. And he's right, the best team doesn't always win it all. We gotta get home field advantage and clean up loses to teams like the Jags & Steelers. He's not perfect but he's better than listening to Stephen A or KC boy......

He was not an Allen believer the first two years.

Many here weren’t either.

I admit I wasn’t an Allen believer. I WAS hopeful, but it took miraculous improvement to get to this point.

Cowherd takes positions, and admits he changes those positions when new information becomes available. That sounds reasonable to me.

He says his most popular segment is generally Colin right/Colin wrong. He owns it when he’s off the mark. I don’t see hating on that.

Happy to see Buffalo as the chalk pick for the Superbowl.  Is it the early 90’s?

I think overall  this  team is even better then the early 90’s ,

if we add a better running threat to this offense it could be really special !!
But I agree with you it does feel like it’s the early 90’s except me losing some hair and gaining few pounds

I like it. Kind of a weird segment that doesn't allow for much analysis, it all seems rushed.

Am I the only one that's blown away by this insane Broncos love though? Number two in the AFC, what? That's not the first time I've seen this. So people think the Bills will be playing Denver of all teams in the AFC Championship? Nate Hackett led Denver, huh. I just don't get it. I've got them 4th in that division.

I had a couple concerns early on in his rookie year, but after returning from the elbow injury, I had pretty much bought in. Remember -even after finally making the post season after 2 decades, our standards were pretty low by then..  A freakishly athletic QB with a cannon right arm and mostly the ‘IT’ Factor. I knew then we’ll likely still be losers but it will be an exciting team of losers. Which at least would be different ..

Remember his 1st ever pass play in preseason? A 70 yard rocket down the left sideline! Caught out of bounds but jaw dropping.

My point is you don't get credit for predicting rain once there's a downpour. There were other media types who either knew what Allen could become or just guessed right. Cowherd is just a weathervane who happens to be pointing in our direction today.

I guess, but everybody touting them as SB contenders seems to be dismissing the fact that they don't have a can't miss, guaranteed offensive weapon like we do with Diggs for example. They just got rid of Fant who was their offensive centerpiece for years. Jeudy took a step back last year. Javonte Williams looks good but only has a single season in a shared system. Etc. There could be a lot of disappointment in Denver this year is all I'm saying. They look great on paper but there are way too many questions to crown them champs of that absolutely loaded division.

Broncos have a very formidable group of receivers… problem was their QB. That’s not an issue anymore.

Could easily see them winning the AFC next season.

I didn't pay that much attention to Seattle last year. Why did they stink? How much was that on Wilson?

Courtland Sutton and Jeudy is a really good WR group, maybe not top of the league but certainly enough to rely on consistently imo

Hmmm. He came around a bit year 2. He wasn't saying "this guy us the best in the league" but he wasn't so that was fair. He was saying year 2 "this Allen kid can make special plays. You don't see that with other QBs."

No, he wasn’t. Cowherd was laughing about Allen being in the top 100 and saying he was terrible after his second year.

Maybe he fluctuated in year 2 because that's also the season before he said Josh wasn't only not a top 100 player but he'd make the argument he wasn't a top 200 player.
