You sure are vacillating qu well.

Once actual debate about Hall is if he has good speed or not.

Some say he's slower than he times.

Others say he's as fast as he times.

He sure had a lot of long touchdowns.

It all depends on who's there. We can draft any position in any round.

I didn't realize we were that thin.

You didn't realize we were thin at CB?

We literally have two outside cornerbacks on the roster.. one is coming off an ACL injury.. one has never been a full-time starter

And I said it a dozen times in this thread

Breece Hall is talented.. now when I watched him play did I think 4.38? No

But he has juice on the field and he would fit our offense..  but running back isn't the only position we need

It will all depend how the draft falls

And yet if CB isn’t BPA, it won’t make sense to draft one just because.

Absolutely

I'm not saying to reach for a player just to reach

I'm all for the best player available at a position of need when we are on the clock... But it all depends how it falls

A vet or a draft pick will start opposite Dane while Tre is out.  We just don’t who who

There are some decent OGs that can be had later in the draft.

there are some decent RBs than can be had later in the draft.

see what I did there?

good luck having Dotson or Moore falling to us in rd 2

That's a bit scary... I'm in the draft Booth or Gordon camp before drafting another RB or WR.

That’s who starts for every team.  A vet or a draft pick.  At every position.  A vet or a draft pick 🤣

I hear ya.  I love booth and would be VERY happy if he’s the pick.  Even in a trade up. He’s a baller.  Gordon I love too. I guess his combine numbers soured me on him just a bit. At one point, I would’ve been happy with him @25, but now I think I’d lean trading back if he’s the BPA.  I thought he would be a 4.35-4.42 type.  Watching him, his play speed seems much faster than the 4.52 that he ran.

I think we’d be getting a nice player if he’s our pick @25.  I just think I’d prefer a WR and go CB in 2 or 3.

Are people stuck in a time warp from back in February? Having watched how the entirety of the free agent season and signings have gone down, knowing the needs of this team’s roster, and the depth of the 2022 draft class it’s REALLY hard to envision the first pick being anything other than a CB. (And then the SD State punter over the weekend…of course. 😉)

Some of us watched Allen carry this team in unnecessary ways because our run game couldn’t sustain drives. Unable to get goal line TDs or short yardage downs, or big plays on the ground. This team is never going to win a Super Bowl being 1 dimensional. While I agree we need a CB, we can draft one in the 3rd. I’d much rather draft Hall and get a CB later.

Cb is a need…but that doesn’t mean you should potentially reach for a player to fill that need.  There are other rounds to fill the need of CB.

you just can’t go into the draft saying : we have to draft a cornerback in rd one.  That’s just bad GMing.  BPA at a somewhat position of need.  If it’s corner, it should definitely be the pick, but if the highest rated corner left on their board is outside of their next 5-10 BPA’s picking that corner would be 💩

Dude is talking about talent evaluators in general by saying that multiple people don’t have a 1st round grade on Hall. You disputed that statement contending that “they said value, not talent”…… and to prove your point…..you list the players that we’ve visited with.  Several of which are not first rd graded players.  How does this make sense to you?

Wow!! Do you not see Breece Hall name on list and they project him to go in the 1st/2nd rd? Also many HAS said his value is not in the 1st

And now I’ll quote myself. Having just watched the latest Mock on ESPN a little bit ago…guess who they had the Bills taking in Round One. 😳

I’m sure our front office is smart enough to evaluate Breece Hall. I’m willing to bet they have him around the 25-40 range. I’m sure they know that trading down a few spots comes at a risk, but it’s something I could see happening. I would be surprise to see us picking up an extra 2nd or 3rd rounder and using that pick for a CB or OG.
