I’m sure he works hard, in general.  His body just might not be able to recover like it once did, no matter what he does.  He’s played a lot longer than most.  Happens to all of them, and us, sooner or later.

To some extent, Sanders snaps takes away from Davis. While Gabe is growing into his position and on his rookie contract, I'd play him as much as possible

I definitely appreciated what he did this past season with the Bills, but he wore out as the season progressed. I wish Sanders nothing but the best.

It’s safe to say Diggs and Davis will be the Bills top 2 WR’s, with Beasley in the slot. I’m curious to see who steps up as the #3 WR?

Sounds like it's time.  Beane seems to want to keep Beasley.   If the Bills keep him and manage to re-sign McKenzie, then maybe they use Stevenson when they want speed on the outside to pair with Diggs.  I'm assuming Gabe Davis is being looked at as a starter on the outside with Diggs, but while he's not slow, he's no burner.  I believe it is important for Beane to be cognizant of team speed, especially at the skill positions on offense as well as defensive back, linebacker and edge rusher on defense.

Gabe Davis looked just fine beating KC deep.

He gave us everything he had this season and I appreciate that, but I think father time is catching up to him. He's had a great career and has a Superbowl ring, so I think the only reason he would come back would be to win another championship or get to 10,000 yards in his career (he would need 755)

If he wanted to come back I'd have no issues with it as long as its cheaper cap wise and known he is more the 5 or 6 wr rather than in the top 3

With that said I think it would be a great time to try and get younger at wr especially with all the free agent wr

having sanders as WR5 is just not good roster construction. Not a unique threat in packages, not ascending and not a special teamer…that deep in the WR depth chart you need at least 2 of those to be solid.

Didn’t love the signing when it happened and I’m not going to change my mind.  Allen elevates players around him and Sanders was a non-factor.  Time to put Gabe out there at #2 and draft some more WRs.   Still could use a true game changer, but unlikely we land one, unless we get lucky and one drops in the draft.  If they part ways with Bease, they are going to have to find a new slot guy too.

I know everyone thinks the Bills are stacked at WR, yet if you look at the facts, they have one guy under contract who has ever had a 1000 yard season.  Only one who was good enough to make the active roster that’s over 6’ tall. And none that are game changer speed.  The group is honestly pretty mediocre as a whole.

Allen has brought them up, Beas and Diggs had their career best years with him, he made Smoke relevant for a couple years, hell he had people thinking Robert Foster was an NFL player.  Allen has made a mediocre cast look good, if he had elite talent around him, it could be obscene.

He can be your 5th wr but not dress on Sundays

Being 5th or 6th just means he would jump those specialists in getting actual snaps in a game if injuries happen. Believe the bills kept 7 wr most if not all season long

to have a long in the tooth guy wanting to earn a ring not dress probably doesn’t jive with his goals or our ability to develop future talent.

just my guess but I think most of these want to contribute to earning it, not just be a practice guy in case of emergency. He could sit home with his family and wait for a call at that point
