I hate to be a Debby downer, but the weather (esp wind) is making this game look like a total crap shoot. I would expect some sort of 10-6 score type of weather game, with neither team doing much and a few bad miscues deciding who scores and wins.

But I guess this is a “real football.”

Yup.  Real men love to play in the freezing cold wet nastiness.  Manly men love to sit in the stadium and cheer on their team while fighting hypothermia.  Can’t wait to see how many empty seats there are for a home season finale vs a division rival that will clinch the division.

That is a gift for the Bills, he has been on fire and is looking like a weapon for the Jets.

I love that the Patriots cut this guy in 2019 and now he's flourishing.

Ok I was thinking that he used to be on the pats but was too lazy to look it up

I understand there is a trade-off between risking injuries in practice during slippery, cold conditions/being hampered in installing the game plan and practicing vs. getting used to the “feel” of the ball and of the field in bad weather

But part of me wonders if a reason Josh’s receivers seem to struggle to hang on in the wind and cold is that they don’t get enough experience with it in practice.

Bill Belicheck said it best:

”That’s why we practice in this s***”

6th best rushing offense helmed by a qb with an absolute cannon vs 32nd best rushing defense....yes total crapshoot.

you get no real weather advantage against opponents unless you practice some in the bad weather.

Better that, then embedding a 29 page Edmunds argument in the game week thread

Touché.

In all seriousness, would you prefer that I delete it and make a separate thread? I don’t want to clutter up the game day thread.

I would say playing 6 out of 8 real games in it constitutes "practicing" in it.  Bills will be fine.

McDermott said a couple weeks ago that they usually  practice outside on Fridays especially if the weather mimics what they might see on gameday (home or away).
