You can’t have a productive debate with people who are unwilling and/or unable to differentiate between social democracy and democratic socialism.

Congratulations to Byron Brown last night, I guess. Childhood poverty in Buffalo rose to 45% during his four terms in office, as he continued funneling most of the city’s financial resources into downtown development. Hurrah for trickle-down economics!

But whatever. In time, progressives will have our revenge. The 2022 Democratic Party primaries are going to be an absolute bloodbath. Here in NYC, I know it’s going to be like the opening scene of Scorsese’s “Gangs of New York.” Hell-Cat Maggie? Meet Hell-Cat Kay.

COMRADE KAY LIES IN PROSTRATE AT THE FEET OF THE DARK MASTER!

COMRADE KAY MAY BE RABID OR CARRY OTHER TICK BORNE DISEASE!

If we’re going full on  Gangs of New York, we might as well get working on these lawn signs!

Btw, I really enjoyed that movie, though after seeing the news that Leo DiCap is an eco-ambassador for the UN, in retrospect I may have cheered for Daniel Day Lewis.  I especially liked the scene at the end, looking across the Hudson as NY morphed from the days of old to modern NYC.

White, racist Karen voters have been the problem, and until they stop being racist Karen’s, the country can’t really move forward.

The numbers are clear but no one wants to talk about it.

Yes, continue with this strategy. It worked very well this time around.

I think property taxes is driving that NJ election result more than any other topic.  The cap on SALT at $10K impacts a lot of homeowners in NJ, there's absolutely no guarantee that Biden will  (or can) restore the full deduction.  The *average* tax bill is $9,112.

NJ is a contrarian state that likes balance of power. The party out of power usually takes the Governor seat.

gov- that’s a faster backpedal than Darrell Green 😂

and what about Virginia??

I thought Murphy was going to win by a landslide?

I'll talk about it.  You're full of crap here.  Idiots like Joy Reid making excuses for losing in Virginia are saying “They’re dangerous to our national security, because stoking that kind of soft white nationalism eventually leads to the hardcore stuff. It leads to the January 6 stuff because if people are tolerant of it in your party, they’re tolerant of the soft racism, it’s a really short trip to get to the January 6 insurrectionists.”

Joy and team left just can't get themselves to understand the problem is they are blind to their own ignorance.  They suffer from a complete lack of self-awareness.  Rather than continue to insist everyone that doesn't agree with them suffers from some major character flaw or behavioral issue the fact and truth is voters don't like the social activism crap that's being pushed down their throats by the left.  Plain and simple.  So stop it or suffer the consequences at the polls.

This is true, I’d thought there was no way Biden could screw up so bad New Jersey would even be a measly 10 point dem margin. Much less a dead heat.

I guess more and more of the traditional democrats with a mind of their own have realized that these neoliberal elites are only in it for themselves
