You pasted three democrats all lying about a put up story as some type of proof of something.

Mine may have been poor taste, yours is an outright lie.

Did Senate Republicans in Texas not pass Senate Bill 3?

If you’re not familiar with Michelle Beckley, Michelle Beckley wants to change that.

The Democratic Texas state representative would like to become a household name, but she can’t do it without your help:

“For those asking.” Anyone else getting “much-anticipated” vibes right now?

But we digress. Because as lame as her begging for contributions is, her begging for Twitter followers is even sadder. Especially because she’s touting her own stunning bravery to do it.

I did nazi that coming

Lets' get a little truth out there.

What happened is that Democrats added a bunch of concepts and documents that schoolkids should know in the anti-CRT bill that passed the House a few weeks ago.

The list was incredibly detailed and extensive, when it’s the role of the state board of education, not the legislature, to get into the weeds of the specifics of the curriculum. Besides, many of the items are *already* covered in the curriculum.

It was widely expected that the Senate would pare down the House bill, and that’s what it did, including cutting a provision citing the KKK.

This emphatically does not mean that Texas is banning teaching about the KKK—anyone saying otherwise is misinformed or lying.

The bill does not subtract anything from the current curriculum, and says so explicitly: “(e)  Nothing in this section may be construed as limiting the teaching of or instruction in the essential knowledge and skills adopted under this subchapter.

These people are really confused.  They're at the WRONG CAPITAL BUILDING!   They're supposed to be at the Texas Capital Building.  Can someone send them a picture?  Don't they go there all the time?  I would have thought they knew where they worked, who elected them, and what authority they have, but that's probably asking too much.

It's like a number of years ago when people went to Sacramento to fight for same sex marriage.  I told them they were going to the wrong capital.

I'm confused.  How does one fight for something that already exists??

When some of your crowy pals try to take it away, these people fight to retain the right.  It should be simple to understand, even for you.

Awesome.   Explain how they are trying to take away right to vote.

I’ll give you one shot.

I'm sorry.  I'm just trying to make sure that I comprehend your question.  The "they" to whom you refer is your crowy pals, is that correct?  I can't possibly begin to answer your question if I don't know the identity of the "they" to which or whom you refer.

I then asked:

“ 'They' being your crowy pals?"

So, this is simple, even for you.  Is the "they" to whom you referred your crowy pals?  Please don't make this any harder than it needs to be.  TwoBillsDrive turns its lonely eyes to you on this issue, Chef Jim Crow.

I'm still a little confused by your crowy "logic."  Are the people to whom you refer not your pals?  Or are they pals of yours who are not crowy?  Please advise.

I don’t know. I don’t have many pals in politics. At least not at this level. But you never know. Give me some names and I’ll let you know if we’re pals.

You're a confusing guy.  All I wanted to know was how you defined "they" for the purpose of your question.  Is the "they" the "your crowy pals" to whom I referred?  Because if it is, you have acknowledged having crowy pals.  So let's just start there.  Do you or do you not have crowy pals?

Comprehend this. How is the right to vote being taken away? Just trying to clear up any more confusion or misunderstandings between you two.

Bottom line:  You asked/demanded that I "[e]xplain how they are trying to take away right to vote."  I asked you to clarify the "they" in your question.  You now say that you can't provide that clarification because you don't know who the they is.  Makes perfect sense, only to those who use Crow logic.

And you want to be my financial adviser.  Not happening, sir.

There's no misunderstanding.  The Crow has to clarify his question/demand.  Because, as he knows, as he himself phrased the question/demand, he has acknowledged that he has crowy pals.  It's sad, I know, but there's a reason why this guy has earned the nickname Chef Jim Crow.

Do you have any idea how utterly demeaning it is to African Americans to suggest they are either too stupid or too lazy to get an ID so that they can vote?  Who’s the blatant racist here?

The they are the people that you and @BillStime are afraid are taking away people's right to vote.  So the they, from my perspective, is inconsequential.   See you know that but the troll that you are makes it important.

Anyway if you and @BillStime are so terribly worried about people losing a fundamental right in this country why are you here? Should you be on your way to GA, TX and elsewhere to fight this horrible denying of peoples' right to vote?   So either the right to vote isn't important to you or you're a troll?  Which is it counselor?

Check and mate again.

The group of Texas state Democrats who ran from their jobs as legislators to the open arms of Democrats in Washington, D.C. is beginning to splinter. They have done all that they can do – secured meetings with senators to push passage of the For the People Act in the Senate, held press conferences, given interviews on friendly cable news stations, received glowing covering in the media, fundraised off their antics, and tweeted up a storm. Still, Biden will not grant them an audience. Frustration has set in.

During a Zoom conversation with U.S. Rep Lloyd Doggett of Austin, state Rep. Richard Peña Raymond of Laredo vented about the holdup.

“He won’t meet with us on Zoom like this, and I’m trying to be tactful, but I don’t know how else to say it, man. I’m just pissed off at this point. He doesn’t give us the respect the way you have,” Raymond told Doggett.

So far the biggest names they’ve secured meetings with are House Majority Whip James Clyburn and Kamala Harris. That seems like consolation prizes because Biden has no interest in wasting time with them.

We’ll try to “be tactful”, too, and say that the Texas Democrats’ vacation in D.C. has turned out to be a public relations disaster. Remember, they agreed to be useful idiots for national Democrats. They were sent to Washington to pressure senators to get on board with the For The People Act that is languishing in the Senate. Instead, a desperate Biden is focusing on the passage of infrastructure legislation.

Texas Democrats Finally Begin to Realize They Are Screwed

You’d be forgiven for forgetting they existed, but the fugitive Texas Democrats, who fled their state to stop the passage of a mundane voting integrity bill, are still hanging out in Washington, DC. Where exactly, I’m not sure, but I like to imagine them sleeping on cots and eating ramen noodles every night while they mutter obscenities about Gov. Greg Abbott to each other.

That’s when they aren’t spreading COVID to everyone, of course. There was a sighting a few days ago in which some of them appeared with Al Sharpton at the MLK memorial. You know, because nothing stirs support in Texas like latching onto a notorious, big-city race grifter
