"Getting Results"

Can’t make this up: Sec. of State Blinken “calls for cooperation with Russia to make world ‘safer.’”

Similarly, Ted Cruz notes, “[B]asically what Joe Biden has decided is pipelines in America, bad. Jobs in America, bad. Pipelines in Russia, good. Jobs in Russia, good. And this is exactly backward. It is asinine. And four months into it, Joe Biden is crawling in bed with Putin and Russia and the enemies of America. It doesn’t make any sense.”

Flashback: So is it fair to ask if Biden is on the payroll of Putin?

As Walter Russell Mead wrote in 2017:

If Trump were the Manchurian candidate that people keep wanting to believe that he is, here are some of the things he’d be doing:

Limiting fracking as much as he possibly could
Blocking oil and gas pipelines
Opening negotiations for major nuclear arms reductions
Cutting U.S. military spending
Trying to tamp down tensions with Russia’s ally Iran.

“Yep,” Glenn added in late 2019. “You know who did do these things? Obama.

You know who supports these things now? Democrats.”

ANALYSIS: TRUE. Other Regimes Will Hijack Planes Too:

If Belarus gets away with it, authoritarian dictators around the world will have a new tool of oppression.

But don’t look to the Biden Administration for much. “All of these cases form part of what is becoming a new norm: Authoritarian states in pursuit of their enemies no longer feel the need to respect passports, borders, diplomatic customs, or—now—the rules of air-traffic control. In this new world, dictators are ever more prepared to arrest or murder political dissidents anywhere, no matter what citizenship they might have or which foreign laws or bureaucratic procedures might theoretically protect them.”

This is what happens when you have a weak America. And a weak America is Biden policy. But hey, no mean tweets.

It was dead and buried as soon as it was started.  Biden's been a disaster when it comes to foreign affairs.

Microsoft says SolarWinds hackers have struck again at the US and other countries

The hackers behind one of the worst data breaches ever to hit the US government have launched a new global cyberattack on more than 150 government agencies, think tanks and other organizations, according to Microsoft.

The group, which Microsoft calls "Nobelium," targeted 3,000 email accounts at various organizations this week — most of which were in the United States, the company said in a blog post Thursday.

It believes the hackers are part of the same Russian group behind last year's devastating attack on SolarWinds — a software vendor — that targeted at least nine US federal agencies and 100 companies.

I guess the pipeline warning wasn't enough to scare Russia , this could get ugly

Fired director of U.S. cyber agency Chris Krebs explains why President Trump's claims of election interference are false

Chris Krebs, a lifelong Republican, was put in charge of the agency handling election security by President Trump two years ago. When Krebs said the election was the country's most secure ever, Mr. Trump fired him. Now, Krebs speaks to Scott Pelley.

A divorce which may have some cause/effect connection to his relationship with the deceased sex trafficker and Mossad operative Jeffery Epstein.  Maybe we find out more with the Maxwell trial unless potentially implicated acquaintances can kill her too.

‘That oughta do it’: Joe Biden promises to tell Vladimir Putin to stop abusing human rights, just like he told Xi Jinping

And Putin will laugh at him as most world leaders do.

Team Biden leads G-7 to global minimum tax rate.

Lol, not G-8, like Trump wanted, lol. Trumps a POS

1019

The G-7 group of advanced economies announced an historic accord to set a minimum global corporate tax rate on Saturday, taking a first step to reverse a four-decade decline in the taxes paid by multinational corporations.

The deal reached at the G-7 meeting in London by Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the U.S. is a major breakthrough for the Biden administration’s efforts to enact a floor on the taxes paid by corporations worldwide.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has been adamant that the U.S. needs to work with other countries to prevent firms seeking lower tax obligations from simply moving elsewhere. Corporate tax rates across the globe have fallen dramatically over the last four decades.

ROGER KIMBALL ON JOE BIDEN’S SUMMER VACATION: He’s going for a nice ride across the big, big ocean in a very shiny airplane. Weeee!

Tomorrow, The Committee will bundle up Joe Biden, titular president of the United States, and take him for a nice ride across the big, big ocean in a very shiny airplane. Weeee! No details have been released yet about what flavors of ice cream he will enjoy, but The Committee’s press arm has been full of stories with titles like ‘Three things to watch on Biden’s first foreign trip‘.

This is not a difficult assignment. The big boys and girls who arrange Joe’s play-dates have told all his favorite friends in the media exactly what to say. And just a couple of days ago they surprised Joe with an article in one of his favorite newspapers, the Washington Post. It was just so nice. A couple of the minders got together and wrote the article and then put Joe’s name on it. Joe was just so excited to see that.

‘Did I do that?’ he asked when he sounded out the bit that said: ‘Thanks to the American Rescue Plan and our domestic vaccination strategy, our economy is now growing faster than at any time in almost 40 years. We have created more jobs in the first four months of our administration than under any other president.’

‘Sure you did,’ they said, though everyone knew it was someone else who developed the vaccines, who oversaw their manufacture and distribution and whose economic policies led to the lowest unemployment in history.

Biden gets a nice reception from the troops. Good to have a president with family that served.

I assume you're referring to his son, who was discharged for drug abuse, and was recently caught in emails throwing the "n" word around?  Oh yes, that's a real good thing to have!

Not jealous at all. I thank him for his service.

Care to comment on Hunter?  Or are you just trying to conveniently avoid those racial slurs?

Earlier today, President Biden and the first lady departed DC en route to Europe for the G7 summit.

The first stop was in the UK for a visit with Air Force personnel, where Biden let everybody know the “greatest threat” America faces this week:

Wait, wasn’t “white supremacy” just the biggest threat America faces?

Forgive him.  He didn't want to be laughed at.

And did he visit the border while he was there?

Former WH Staffer: Vladimir Putin “Body Slammed” Joe Biden When They Met

“I was standing in the room with him when he met with Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Putin body slammed him. He made him look like he didn’t know what he was doing. It was the first one on one meeting Joe Biden had with Vladimir Putin. It was during the Russian reset. It was in 2011. And all of a sudden, Vladimir Putin just turned off the lights and that was it. Joe Biden couldn’t say another word. They cut off his mike. They turned off the lights for the press for the television cameras and Joe Biden was dumbfounded. Almost the same thing happened several months later in China. It’s all in my book, these examples of Joe Biden getting bullied by authoritarian leaders and then rolling over and basically doing what they want. If you’re a Hollywood actor and Joe Biden is your agent and he’s out there, agenting for you with these people, you don’t want to deal with that. You can’t have him out there negotiating like that. He’d be a horrible negotiator.”
