All I can keep thinking about is the year they started 5-0 under Trent Edwards, who is no Josh Allen....he wasn't even Joe Dufek (look it up) and then went 2-8 or something like that.    But a very familiar feeling so far - we're all pretty giddy right now.  Allen looks fantastic as does the entire offense.  Need to get the defense shored up for the games coming.  Should be a fun ride....

As long as JA stays healthy, that's not happening. As you said, he is not Trentative. He's as far from that as you can get. He won't let the team go in the tank, even if there are some tough losses here and there.

Trent Edwards could only dream about being like Allen. That team was nowhere near as talented as this one.

1 game at a time

Tenn game is massive. Win that and we can afford a loss vs the Chiefs, going into the NE game 6-1 would be so crucial.

our defense needs to improve though, Titans will be a huge test with their power run game

Never ever comfortable. This is Our Buffalo Bills after all.

4-0 with Edwards.

Edwards also had 11 TD passes all of 2008.  Allen has 12 through 4 games.

I was curious as to his whereabouts these days so I had a look. Turns out Trent is now the co-founder of STRIVR, a training and performance company.

Have to say, I found the homepage of their site funny (https://www.strivr.com/), scroll down and in HUGE letters it says "RESULTS YOU CAN SEE". Erm, yeah

I think oxygen and water matter.

Yes.............for me.

I’ll reserve judgment for some of the others, Mr Ranch Dip!

EDIT: It’s hard to believe the Nashville game so many here attended was just a year ago. So much has happened, it seems like MUCH longer ago to me.

Keep winning.  I want the 1 seed.

Exactly ^^^^^ !!!
If our defense gets close to the level in which they’ve played last year it will be tough for anybody to beat us !!!

GO BILLS !!!!

That is it, keep winning, win the division, hope for the 1 seed which is tough with KC. But a first round bye and home game is HUGE!!!

Rules changed.  Only one seed gets a bye unless they add additional week and then all teams in playoffs get bye who did do not play that week.

Having won all 4 games thus far the Bills can go .500 the rest of the season and be in very comfortable position to make the playoffs. That would put them at 10-6 and at that record could still be the division winner. Now I am not at all saying they will go 6-6 the rest of the season, but barring injury to Allen I see them going at worst 7-5, and that is my worst case scenario. If the Titans game goes on as scheduled Sunday Tennessee will be very depleted missing so many players. Suddenly that game is extremely winnable if it goes on. Chiefs game will be so tough, but Buffalo can pull it off. At that point Bills are 6-0 or 5-1 at worst.

10-6 might get you the playoffs but not the division. Pats still look like a 11-12 win team. And we have always struggled to beat them.

Really pats****** are 12 win team ?
So you think they can win 10 out of the next 12 games and they have to play us twice ?
OK !!
If our defense tightens up a little bit we are at  minimum a 12 win team !!!

GO BILLS BABY !!!

I think they started 5-1 not 5-0 that year if it makes you feel better 🤣

It was 4-0. We haven't been 5-0 since 1991

29 years, apparently they went 5-0 the year before going 4-0.

1991 was the last time they were 5-0
