I do wonder whether he is really on this roster or this is a Glenn Gronkowski situation where they cut him and bring in a vet in the next week or 2. Matakevich is an inside guy (and here mainly for teams in any event) and Dodson has been playing inside during camp.... maybe it came down to that? They see him more as a backup will maybe?
