OANN is the same news network that a couple weeks ago tried convincing people that there were "pipe bombs" during the BLM protests in DC and that "antifa" were trying to blow up federal buildings, none of which was anywhere close to being true.

DC and secret service looked into it and basically told them to shut the ***** up and stop reporting false info. You wanna talk about race wars? Look who's ***** starting them...

this is the news network you folks are defending? lol. hope you never show up to a Bills game In the future for your own well being.

They promote garbage neoliberalism. and nice try trying to compare socialism to right wing fascism, you know the kind America tried to take down in WWII.

so what you are saying right now is fascism is perfectly ok and that we should embrace it with open arms? yea no.

you show up supporting something like that you deserve all the backlash coming to you. I'm sorry.

You do understand that the right/left political spectrum is different in Europe than in the US right?

I’m far from liberal.  Gundy learned that OAN really offends some of his players.

Really? LMAO

OK

Maybe the rap lyrics that some of his black and white players listen to in the locker room are offensive to Gundy?

Get over it.

You claim that only one side has to be tolerant of the other.  You claim liberals have stereotyped actions.  All you are is the flip side of the same coin.

Gundy as a coach  has a different responsibility.  If you don’t get that you’re clueless.

Let’s say you’re in a position of authority with several young women in your office, and you wear T shirts with demeaning slogans against women.  Is it your position they should just get over it?

then I suggest you do what I did and actually sit down and talk with some black folks in your community.  That is if you’re open to hearing differing views. Opened my eyes quite a bit.

A few years ago I had a nice house listed for lease in Atlanta. I get a call from a Ms Johnson inquiring. We talk for a bit and it’s clear that she is an IDEAL tenant. Well established as a corporate attorney with a big local company. Income far exceeds what’s needed for this nice very house. I meet her and her daughter at the house and realize she was “Ms Johnson”, because her first name would have led some people to assume she was black. Her daughter was a dream, sweet kid. It made me sad that she thought she had to “cover” herself that way, some people really would care.

I’ve posted this before. I’m often the only white guy at the park I go almost daily. One guy noticed the police cars had a different paint job. I was like....what, it’s a cop car....what’s the difference? They thought it was hysterical I don’t notice the cop cars. I thought I knew, but that was eye opening and somewhat life changing.

How in the ***** is wearing that t-shirt being seen as a demeaning slogan for cripes sake?

Does that trigger you?

No. Unlike the social warriors here it doesn't even come up when I am dealing with them.

Or whites.

Or Hispanics.

Or Asians.

Or Indians.

Not once in my 30 year career has anyone asked me how I feel about how their lives matter and we have worked together quite well.

Imagine that you little warrior you! ?

Well aren’t you just so much smarter than the rest of us? Isn’t that cute.

No one on here is trying to tell you how to think. Judging by some of your lovely comments on here, that ship has long since sailed. Ever stop to think your comments or mannerisms around those people don’t foster an environment where they feel comfortable sharing their experiences with you? You saying it doesn’t exist, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist to them. But you’ve never had to think about those things, so why start now right?

But you came in here pounding your chest like a Neanderthal, intentionally trying to antagonize people with how much better you think you are than the rest of us. You sure showed us.

I do agree with alot of what you say, honestly, but you are missing the big picture. Everytime a conservative expresses his opinion, no matter how subtly, he faces immense blowback from corporate and left wing media. It is like a firestorm. Boycotting,  censorship,  and alot of times people losing their jobs. You almost never see that with left wing individuals expressing themselves.  If this is how it is going to be going forward, we are on the precipice of the end of free speech.

I’m not so much missing it as just knowing that’s what’s coming. We are at a point that you’re on one side or the other. This entire country is divided and you sit on one side or the other. We all need to acquiesce to our audience to a certain level in the interest of self-preservation. That’s what Brees did, Dabo did, and now Gundy. It’s the same thing Trump always does (and has mastered/created). You make decisions based on what’s important to the people that put you in power. It’s going to take a lot to stop this snowball from going downhill.

I believe you started with the name calling cupcake. Typical deflector response. I’d expect nothing less coming from you based on how enlightened your posting has been. “My whittle tummy hurts when people start to challenge my dated beliefs.”

I’d bet you’re not nearly as tough as you think you are when you’re out from behind that keyboard. Toolbag.

It's funny how guys like you think the rest of us have never talked to a black person before.

I probably know more black folks on a personal level than you've ever met. If you actually knew any black people in a meaningful way you'd know they're not a monolithic block.

Strangely enough they're individuals with their own thoughts and opinions.

I have a black friend that I watch the draft with every year and he thinks about as much of your guilty white social justice bull#### as I do.

One of my wife's best friends is a black Democrat who knows we're conservatives and voted for President Trump and she thinks of us as family.

I've known, worked, and hung out with plenty of black folks with a variety of opinions about racism, but none that have ever expressed the feeling that they're living under the strain of racial oppression. Some have spoken of specific incidents or general perceptions, but nothing on the level of what certain white people keep insisting. And in all the time we've spent together I've rarely seen anything racist directed towards any of them. Maybe I was "shielding them with my white privilege". ?

I've been around some pretty racist black dudes too. I once worked with a guy who was a five percenter (doubt you even know what that is) who gave me an in depth summary of his beliefs, including that the white man is the devil. Another black guy told me that he didn't even like white people but that I was his friend. You know what, we were still cool. I don't cry like a kitty because someone has an offensive opinion.

You know what else. Most black folks don't melt like a snowflake when you have a real conversation about these topics.

I've known black folks from all different backgrounds. Some that grew up in the country, white suburbs, black suburbs, and inner city. I've smoked blunts with black guys in the projects. I've been to multiple gatherings where my wife and I were the only white people in attendance. I've been to barbecues in the hood. My niece and nephew are black.

I also sat through more than a few lectures on systemic racism on my way to a doctorate degree, including those from a black Marxist who used his classroom as a vehicle to promote Critical Race Theory.

So yeah, I've heard a little bit about what black folks think.

I didn't turn 70, have a conversation with a few black folks I fetishized and held up as virtue pets, and become woke. But thanks for the advice.

Yeah, he learned to keep his views to himself.

That's a good thing in your world, right?

The Liberal world of everyone that doesn't agree with our views is intolerant.

Nah, I think he's genuinely embarrassed because he knows how bad of a move it was, because OAN is a total joke at best and divisive propaganda at worst. And there are some serious questions about who is truly bankrolling and involved with that network. I mean, the names of some of their anchors are "Adonis Albright" and "Chanel Rion" for example. People can watch what they want, of course, but at least admit that it's borderline satire at best. Adonis Albright??! lol dude

And folks, if Mike Gundy of all people is embarrassed about his outed support then woo boy, good luck to this "network".

and yet they scoffed at the mere suggestion that OANN was right wing. You brought up her name, so i’ll just throw this out there: just look up some of the questions Chanel Rion has posed in her time in Washington.

Do you see people lining up to destroy Hollywood celebrities over wearing Che t shirts? How about mayors of cities that honeymoon in Cuba during the cold war?

At best, I would say that you have a flawed definition of "freedom of speech" where someone's expression should be free of consequences. That's not the way it works, and it never has been. Gundy's opinion of OANN was strong enough that he wore their advertisement on his chest. That expression had consequences.

And yet, you're against players kneeling during the anthem...

Hell, look up her background. Then look up her husband's background. Very interesting that she's being given privilege by at least the former Press Secretary (lol) and now the current? Something stinks, and it ain't just the same scarf that Chanel wears everyday while awkwardly stalking the back row of the legitimate press pool that's authorized by by the WHCA. But everybody else is the enemy and this inexperienced individual is telling the truth, right? C'mon.
