I have like a 90% chance of not getting the virus and a 99.5% chance of living if I do It seems like they just want control if you're asking me.. the vaccinated have almost no chance of dying according to the science.. This is what I don't understand about the Democrats strategy to keep this thing going. From history we know they have an uphill battle to hold power in Congress. The top thing they could do for re election is fix COVID fast. Rs couldn't fix it but they could. Set a standard. When we got to 70%, everyone gets a get out of lockdown card. And less than 48 hours after impending doom lady made an impassioned plea why kids HAD to wear masks outdoors all summer long at camps, vaccine or no vaccine!!!!!!! Good golly, that is some outstanding reverence for the scientific method! Trust the science!!!! Good news to distract from everything else. However, further investigation is ongoing. This one if my favorite! So they are relaxing certain measures to motivate people to get the vaccine? So that's their motivation? Are they lying just to get people to comply? - Taking steps towards relaxing certain measures for vaccinated people may help improve COVID-19 vaccine acceptance and uptake. - The risks of SARS-CoV-2 infection in fully vaccinated people cannot be completely eliminated as long as there is continued community transmission of the virus. Vaccinated people could potentially still get COVID-19 and spread it to others. However, the benefits of relaxing some measures such as testing and self-quarantine requirements for travelers, post-exposure quarantine requirements and reducing social isolation may outweigh the residual risk of fully vaccinated people becoming ill with COVID-19 or transmitting the virus to others.
