It's a happy holiday song, sung by an icon, aimed at an audience that still believes in Santa Claus. What kid doesn't like that song? When I was a wee lad at Iroquois Middle School, we watched a movie called “Hans Brinker and the Silver Skates” (or something like that). Was a great movie. But it was set in Holland or Sweden (i.e. where the government doesn’t interfere with the natural beauty of inland waterways).
