He just curb-stomped the Patriots.

Oh, HE curb stomped them?

Maybe my memory is going, but I thought it was the 200+ rushing yards  lead by Mark Ingram's astounding 7.7 yards per carry average and a defense that held Brady to 285 yards on 40+ attempts that blasted the Patsies.

But if it suits your agenda to credit the win solely to Lamar's 160 passing yards and 3.8 yards-per-carry rushing performance, then you do you man.

Some of us actually watch the games.

Did Jackson sleep with your wife or something? The anger is fascinating.

Jackson commanded his offense to an early lead over a defense that made Josh Allen and Sam Darnold look like crapping preschoolers. Not sure which game you were watching.

You know how I know when someone is out of arguments? They make things up.

In this instance, you've pulled from thin air an idea that somehow I don't like Lamar or am angry about...something? Not sure. As is typical for totally-made-up arguments, this one wasn't very well developed.

And it couldn't be further from the truth, as I've been quite consistent that I like and believe in all 5 of the 2018 QBs. I think Lamar is good. Maybe very good. We'll see.

And I'm thrilled that they decimated the Patsies. Why wouldn't I be?

I just happen to be able to watch them objectively and put their performances into context. Try it sometime.

Jackson is having a great year.  The Ravens designed their offense around his unique skill set.  Good for him.

And that has nothing to do with how good or bad Josh Allen is playing.

The Bills should be doing the same with their offense for Allen.

tons of teams have to have been bad 6-2, it's not worth remembering

offhand...

the Bears have garbaged and lucked their way to great records, under Jauron and last year, and then gone back to hibernation

Since it's Browns week a question keeps popping up in my mind every time I see the title of this thread: Would you rather be perceived as a "flawed" 6-2 team or as a "talented" 2-6 team? Ask the Browns this question. I've wanted to ask this question since this thread was started, but never did. Dopey me.

you beat me to MY punchline

Quit being so dopey

I'd like to add that   NE is a flawed 8-1 team.

Agreed. I don't think they will fall off the cliff, like some say after the Baltimore game, but they have their issues too.

I think it's wrong to say the Bills are "the most flawed 6-2 team". They are, like most, a team with strengths and weaknesses. A work in progress. How they use their strengths and manage their weaknesses through the remaining eight games of the regular season will tell me whether or not they can be called a good team this year. Jury is out. A lot depends on how well the coaches do their jobs.

this season is exceptionally stocked with rancid and dumpster fire teams in the AFC

so 6-2 putatively (on paper) would seem to be an accomplishment almost every year

but this one.....

rock on Bills, win them all!

it's still an accomplishment.  the bills are as strong as your typical 6-2 team, but the record is a positive, and it's ok to call it an accomplishment.  you play who you have in front of you.  the bills are the ones typically at the bottom.  this year they're not.
