It allows the Bills to basically "redshirt" a player that wasn't going to contribute much this season anyways, but should be able to compete for a defensive spot next season. He is talented but of course he needs to be coached up. When they drafted him they knew this. Joseph also comes from a program at Florida that allowed its Lb's the autonomy to roam and create plays. Some of that may lend to Josephs discipline issues.
