Talking about the frustration on dealing with single source reporters ( who are wrong more often than they are right)

Mention Antonio Brown and Ansah as examples

Yeah well....OK.  That's how it works in the NFL.  Everybody trying to scoop everyone else.  Agents put stuff othere.  Reporters report "rumors"--don't need to be mutlply sourced if reported as such.

Why would any GM complain, let alone even mention, this on the radio?  It's how it gets done.  In fact the NFL dominates the sports news cysle year round because of this kind of stuff.  Especially at this time of the year.  The NFL depends on this stuff to keep the plates in the air until training camp.

Beane isn't familiar with this?

This has been going on forever.  What a weird thing to complain about.

I also think most smart fans don’t really listen to all the BS anyways, especially around draft time.

Considering the guy that reported it is Ian Rapoport it's probably him being a little raw after the whole AB thing.

I know but so what?  It's all meaningless.  Why point it out?  All part of the show.

But they did contact the Steelers about Brown.

Of course they did.

Beane needs to get with the process...

He needs to get with the program or what. Sure, it’s part of the process and has been going on a long time, but how will it hurt him if he doesn’t.  The only thing he NEEDS to do is continue to make the Bills better and lead us to a super bowl

I like it. These media guys have been doing “unrefutable” posts without a valid source for years. Somebody needs to call em out once in a while. Good one Beane!

speaking out now will make reporters think twice before posting unverified drivel at least with respect to Bills since Beane might come after them.

the flip side is that these media members will paint Beane and the Bills in bad light but they are not really kissing up now are they?

Maybe because he is tired of having to answer questions from reporters that act like the information these other people are reporting is true and then treat him like he is lying when he refutes it?

He misses a lot on Bills since his source was canned from locker room job.
