I disagree.  Simmons, but he’s out for a year.  Wilkins is 24.  Sweat maybe in a few drafts weak in pass rushers.  Jonah Williams? Short armed LT that got destroyed in his last game?     I don’t see it.  DK? Lol.  Gary?  LOLOLOL.

I don’t think these guys are THAT good.  Simmons for sure.

Agree to disagree

All good

The San Diego Chargers select Garrett Bradbury, DB, NC State.

The Seahawks are on the clock

I have the Browns with pick #17 in the second round ... I'm wondering if I'll be able to make a pick before the real draft starts.

Do you want the Rams pick?

They're your pick  Virgil ... at least I think they are. I just get frustrated with people not making their picks and slowing this down.

I’ve already made picks. You can have them if you want them

Bradbury is a guard now.  Not a DB or a Center (they have Mike Pouncey).  They also have Forrest Lamp and dan feeney at guard.  Bradbury is the BPA though

Interior lineman is their position of need and he's BPA.  They have some guys with versatility and there wasn't a DT or DB that made a lot of sense for them

***TRADE ALERT***

Seattle Seahawks are sending picks #29 and #84 to the New England Patriots in exchange for picks #56, #64, #97, and #101

The New England Patriots and @section122 are now on the clock.

You already traded 84 to the Chiefs for Frank Clark!

I'm going to change it to pick 92 unless one of you objects

The Patriots replace a big free agent loss and select Clelin Ferrel, DE, Clemson.

This pick replaces Trey Flowers quite nicely and MUCH cheaper.

I guess that just depends on which website is putting together their needs.  Their RT is questionable but imo, their interior OL has solid talent unless Forrest Lamp turns out to be a bust.  I absolutely loved him coming out of college.  Pouncey is a stud at C.  Feeney is probably the worst of them, but he was a 3rd rd pick last year.  Bradbury is much better than Feeney.

Not like it matters, but I don’t see interior OL as a big need, especially compared to Safety, LB and even Corner.

@section122

It still shows me having 84 on the front page of this, so I thought you already adjusted it and 84 was the new one.  So yeah, swap it to 92 then, still works out really.

Updated trade info:

Seattle sent 29 and 92 to New England for 56, 64, 97, and 101

Looking over various mock drafts and draft needs lists for the Packers, the unanimously agreed upon position of most pressing need after OL was Safety. Even though the Pakcers signed Adrian Amos and spent a high pick last season on Josh Jones, they still feel like they need to add a playmaker at the position. As such...

With the 30th pick in the 2019 NFL draft, the Green Bay Packers select Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, S, Florida

The Packers love Gardner-Johnson's versatility. They feel that he will fit perfectly into Mike Pettin's multiple defensive fronts, and will provide Green Bay with an excellent "Big Nickel" package going forward.

My work computer is being funny, so can someone please tag the next guy whose turn it now is? Please and thanks.

If I'm the Chargers I go Okung-Feeney-Bradbury-Pouncey-Lamp. I'd make Bradbury my center and move Pouncey to guard where he would be very good. I'd try Lamp at RT as he was a former LT who would probably be fine on the right side. Pouncey is only around for 1 more year.

With the 32nd pick The New England Patriots select Marquise Brown, WR, Oklahoma.

With the second pick in the first round the Pats get their target all along.  Brown is the next in line from Welker and Edelman.

None of these qbs are worth the investment imo and the defense was addressed.  Could see an o-lineman here but I like Brown.

What do you say we keep it rolling?  Really the 2nd and 3rd round don't need to be done until Friday night so we have 2 days and a couple hours?  I would be willing to help you and hokie moderate it...

Yeah I had it typed up confident they weren't going WR.  I think secondary help matches value to pick here but we shall see...

A good value pick @ 32.

Bonus - in true Pats tradition cheated by picking early.

If you want to continue you can start a thread (so you can edit the OP). I'll stick with it until tomorrow night at least, but if you PM me a good email for you I can grant you editing power for the sheet as well. If you like the look of the table you can use it as well rather than re-typing. I'm just copy pasting that from the sheet, but the forum seems to handle the formatting well.

Surely @Virgil doesn't mind if he doesn't want to continue.

Do people want to continue?  I would be down but need others to participate.  Any interest from other gms?

We'd need to pace for 32 picks in the next 26 hours. Probably no more trades unless they are pre-negotiated, just for efficiency purposes.
