Also really looking forward to the Rogue One spinoff with The Mandalorian. I hope they get even wider releases with the recent acquisition of Fox, too. I expect it will be the more adult-skewing stuff, including many of the newly acquired Fox properties. The current contract with Netflix expires this year. Profits Not good news for Netflix as they just increased their standard price to $13/month to help pay down some of its debt. I can see a lot of parents switching from Netflix to Disney plus. Wait... so you're telling me that on the new streaming service there are already apparently 2 live action Star Wars series (Mandalorian and the spinoff with Cassian, which I was initially interested in because I loved Rogue One) and 4 live action Marvel series (Scarlet Witch with Vision, Loki prequel, The Falcon and Winter Soldier, and a Hawkeye series... all with the original actors from the MCU movies) that are confirmed and people are questioning this service and price??? I can’t recall the last time I watched regular TV. But watching Netflix less too. So it’ll end up being m’eh. I will second Boca Bills' "nothing" comment. I have had simple guidelines for movies for the last decode or so. 1. Has to be rated R. 2. Can not be a remake, sequel, reimagining, etc.... I need new ideas. 3. No super hero movies. These 3 general rules eliminate almost all Disney/Marvel/Star Wars movies. No before I get roasted, I will admit there are some exceptions to these rules. I recently watched Prospect, which I thought was good. Stars Pedro Pascal of GoT, Narcos, and now Mandalorian fame. If you wanna watch the movie, don't watch that full trailer. It shows way too much. Your definition of "recent years" is very interesting. Earlier you said movies from the last decade or so and then included Godfather 2 (1974). Now you've just included 2007, 1995, 2007 again, 2006, 1995 again, a wide widow for Tarantino, and 1998 all as recent. I'm also not trying to pick a fight here, but I find it interesting. I think all to often we think of a movie as recent only to realize that it came out longer ago than we realize. I should have said in the last couple decades or since I was out of college. All good either way. It got the name Flash Mountain because many of the women used to raise their tops for the picture. I, on the other hand, had both hands locked around whatever bar device was there. Well I made it in 1970, and it was everything that I had imagined! Beautiful, clean, nice people etc. Last time there was late 90's, and the neighborhood had obviously changed, and not for the better! Now California seems to have declined further! Just proves the vision of Walt Disney. He owns so much land in Florida, that there will never be any deteriorating neighborhoods to deal with.
