Brady then destroyed his phone completely when confronted by the league. Sneaking around, giving memorabilia to complicit employees, destroying evidence. All for a little extra pressure in his football. I think he was probably covering for Belichick with the phone destruction. The cover up is often worse than the crime. History proves that. Is he still the GOAT? Yes, I think so. But it comes with an asterisk, just like Belichick. Crazy, because the arrogant &^%$)#@ really could have won (almost) as much without ever crossing the line. While I would LOVE to know, sometimes that’s best in the big picture to just make it “go away”.
