Bills trade with Browns for Corey Coleman

Recommended Posts

I don't think Coleman was brought in with the hopes of him materializing into a WR1 or WR2; I think he was brought in to keep defenses honest, but more importantly to help Kelvin Benjamin and the offense out on the outside with his speed, when Benjamin's working from the slot.

I see Coleman as having the most value as a slot guy.

He also has value as a KR and you know how McDermott feels about having guys that can contribute on special teams.

Perspective also from @Pat_Thurman off that twitter thing

Corey Coleman QBs:

Kizer: 8.5 games

RGIII: 5 games

McCown: 2 games

Kessler: 1 game

McCown/Kessler: 2 games

(2 full games w/ McCown: 13 tgt, 8 rec, 142 yds, 3 TD)

A couple fluke injuries and a QB clowncar in a 1-31 circus.

Did that tweet above say we took Pryor off their hands? When did that happen? Is this the Mandela Effect happening right before our eyes?

The tweet says “Poyer”

Yep he’s a low risk, potentially high reward Goodwin replacement

A Browns writer is saying this is more about moving on than the compensation. Basically said that issues extend back to last year and that isn't wasn't entirely performance based.

I've heard a lot that Coleman is lazy and didn't know the playbook. The ability is there but not always the mental part.

I mean the Browns drafted Coleman and then gave him:

Kizer

RGIII

McCown

Kessler

As his QBs, one could argue the QB was never there, nevermind the mental bit.

Well, I'm sorry if I deal with reality rather than pretending that the Bills situation, past and present, is all rainbows and unicorns.

ok.  let's not play this game.  there's a striking difference between a realist and someone who is down right miserable.  guess which side of the coin you're on?it's understandable to be down on this team, but you're a different creature.  you literally can't find a single thing to be positive/happy about with the team you're supposedly a fan of.  you have an act, it's old, and i can only imagine who you are off the internet.  lighten up sweetheart.  i just can't wrap my head around someone who is so bitter toward something that should be entertainment.  turn off the tears, loosen up, and have some fun.  you need a drink or something.

Some or all of this has got to be true, but if a first round pick can't be motivated by being traded for basically a bag of footballs then I don't know what will. And if he doesn't it's gonna cost the Bills about 4 million dollars over 2 years which is pennys in the big picture.

actually, i don't understand why someone would be down on the team at this point...if we were 0-6 I can see that but the team has added some talent...defense expects to be better and even though some don't believe this....we are coming off a playoff season...
