Forest Gump /thread.

never heard of Volunteers

I thought it was hilarious slapstick.

Apollo 13, Castaway and Philadelphia were also terrific.  And Forest Gump remains oddly appealing.

No one mentioned Charlie Wilson’s War or Splash.  Speaking of which I think there was a poster here called Ralph Wilson’s War.  Maybe it was the old BBMB

Nor Bridge of Spies.

Good call.  Between Hanks, Hoffman, Slattery and all the eye candy, that was a very entertaining movie, despite the historical simplification.

Aaron Sorkin is a douchebag, but he does know how to engage the audience.

You going to watch Toy Story 4 when it comes out?  Of the series, I thought 3 was the best.

I will definitely see Toy Story 4.

As for the best of the series, both 2 & 3 are a toss-up for me. They're both great.

Tom Hanks will eventually star in a role a biographical movie telling the life story of Tom Hanks.

I don't know - do you think he has that much range?
