Down by 9. But kentucky played as well as they are going to play. If Buff can make some shots, they are going to make this a game.

Yea Kentucky was on fire. They are a tough out when they are making shots

Wonder if bulls ought to play some zone. Make KY make some outside shots.

They need to change something up and make   UK take more jumpers or they don't have a chance

they are just too long and athletic

I'm a little pissed right now because the bracket lined up great for UB. They had a very legit chance at making the final 4 if they got by Kentucky.

It was nice to get the first tourney win ever but I'm still not happy right now.

I don't know if anyone is getting by Kentucky.

Was a great effort, but the turning point came on that missed 3 pointer down 5 with around 10 minutes left.  That would've cut it to two.  Instead I think Kentucky got a three pointer right afterwards and just ran away with it.

Again I'll be honest I really haven't followed the Bulls throughout the year but they made me interested in the tourney.  Hope they come back even stronger

Thats an understatement. The refs could have teed him up about 5 times for his trash talking/ standing over a guy, etc. what a punk. Someone needed to punch him in the face.

I have a feeling one day he'll get his

Not seieng the point, I expect Kentucky to run them off the court, don’t let this go too much to your ego....

if Buffalo can hang around then teams like Kentucky fold real bad down the stretch, go 2 for 12 from the FT line because they have no real coaching or character, like Syracuse....

You happy,buddy.

Best Buffalo year since Bob Lanier’s Bonnie’s dream ended when he tore his knee in the semi-final in the early 70s

they wouldn’t have beaten the Wicks UCLA team though

No..................They certainly WOULD HAVE beaten UCLA.............Only one loss all year, to a strong Villanova team, that also made the elite eight, before being destroyed by Bona in the rematch.

But back to the thread, and congrats to the Bulls for a great season.

Pitt wants Oats...one million dollar buyout.

Despite the fat paycheck Pitt is a flaming s##tshow right now. Meanwhile Buffalo is loaded for next year. Someone on UBbullrun.com pointed out that if Oats has another season like this with UB he'll have his pick of top flight jobs. Gigs open up every year. He can wait for a better one. Besides, he wasn't even Pitt's first choice.

EDIT: Now there's denial that this is true: https://www.ubbullrun.com/2018/3/22/17152012/pitt-talking-to-buffalo-bulls-basketball-coach-nate-oats
