KGun12TD
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Lions were "listening" to trade offers for Eric Ebron at last week's Combine. Ebron's $8.25 million salary becomes guaranteed on the first day of the new league year, next Wednesday, and Schefter says Ebron is "a name to watch in the coming days" on the trade market. The Lions have maintained the stance that they're keeping Ebron for his contract year in 2018, but they obviously aren't married to the idea. The No. 10 overall pick in 2014, Ebron hasn't at all lived up to his draft status. He wouldn't fetch more than a mid-round pick or a similarly unproductive player at a bloated salary. GM Bob Quinn didn't draft Ebron in Detroit. Is he worth a 3rd?
HumbleAndHungry
The guys got a lot of talent but he can't consistently catch the ball

No, and never!
BuffaloBillyG
High priced TE that can't catch well? And we get to burn a draft pick on him? I'll pass. Not that Ebron would catch it.
YoloinOhio
I would give them a 6th in 2019. 4
VaMilBill
Thank goodness we didn't draft him. I remember a lot of people were mocking him to us. Phew
Logic
Bills won't be players for him. But keep an eye on Dallas Goedert as a surprise early round pick for Buffalo in the draft.

Phew Actually, the rumor I heard was that Whaley was gonna draft him if the trade for Watkins hadn't gone through...

Send them next year's 5th (with a condition that it can become a 4th if certain benchmarks are met). They'll take it.

Kirby Jackson
A conditional pick isn’t a bad idea. If he walks after the year, he walks. You may use a pick on a TE anyways. A 2019 6th that can become a 5th or something like that? Kind of like the Dareus trade...
Buftex
I kinda like the tight ends we have right now.
Dkollidas
He’ll get cut. No one is giving up anything for an athletic tight end who has yet to show the ability to consistently catch the ball.
Buffalo Ballin
Nope. This dude Ebron sucks. Stay away from him.

Maybe a fifth, but there is some good TE talent in the draft. I'm sure Daboll wants to utilize two TE's here.
