NOT GREAT. he'll be a top 5 rusher when all is said and done and I doubt he'll ever get in. always very good. but he only had one season where he was really at the top of the position. the rest he was just a very good consistent player. Still, I think his 17,698 all-purpose regular season yards should be enough to get him over the top (1,100+ more than Thurman's 16,532)... Gore will get in. I'm assuming he's going to play next year (he was good this season), and he will quickly pass Curtis Martin for #4 on the all-time rushing list. dave mcbride Posted January 31, 2018 Share Posted January 31, 2018 (edited) The big one for me is Edgerrin James. He's not in, and he's only RB with over 12,000 yards who isn't. He also has 15,610 total yards - 2500 more than Craig and 700 more than Ricky Watters. He played a lot in the postseason too. James had 91 total TDs, as did Watters. Craig had 73.
