If you're going to try to fool the big man you'll either have to get much better at sarcasm or accept that your hair will never grow back.

Trump can grow hair? Given his results, I think I'll choose to remain bald.

You don't have to be like Trump.  Maybe you can look like Kevin from The Office when he wears his toupee.  That was good.

The Wall, prior to Trump's addition had stretches that were built out of items that were on hand such as Vietnam War era helicopter landing pads. These fences were easily penetrated but were erected in areas that naturally had a lot of influx from Mexico. They really never shut down the border but acted as a speed bump only.  Other sections only had gates across roadways that could be walked around by people on foot. The approach now is not to make the wall so tall, so thick and so difficult to get over or under that no illegal aliens can possibly get into the U.S. The new wall slows people down to the extent that after our sensors and cameras pick them up they can be caught. People can argue all they want about whether or not we are replacing wall or building new wall. At this point, what difference does it make?

It makes no difference. Because your dear leader defied the constitution to fund his vanity project and wrote a campaign "check" that his mouth (when not full of McNuggets and Quarter Pounders) couldn't cash.  Face it, he didn't the job done and he's not just a loser, he's a tremendous loser.  Sad!

Defied the constitution? Says who?

No worries. Uncle Joe will start dismantling it in a few weeks. I assume taking the Wall down isn’t unconstitutional. Let’s see if he does.

There isn’t much to dismantle.  The three new miles that Trump built probably could come down in a couple of hours.

So why does it bother you then? Can you see it from your house.

Because the funding mechanism is illegal and I believe in the rule of law.

Because I don’t believe a sea-to-sea wall is about border security.  It’s about xenophobia.

And because I believe the wall will soon prove ineffective.  I watched Narcos.  Those dudes are smart.

But in all seriousness, nobody that I know is against a wall in an urban place, like San Diego or Yuma or Nogales.  (I’ll qualify that by saying that El Paso probably is a different story, but I don’t know anyone with “skin” in the El Paso issue.)

I have a major problem with a wall disrupting Big Bend National Park.  It’s unnecessary and stupid.  The financial and ecological costs aren’t worth the minimal benefit (assuming there is a benefit) a wall would provide in remote areas.

So my problem isn’t with a smartly-done wall.  It’s with a sea-to-sea wall that supports xenophobia and that does not protect Americans.

That is a lie that's been disproven here in the past when you brought it up previously. Do you not have the ability to learn new things?

So then he lied in 2016.  Got it.

Hyperbole. He didn't set out to lie like "if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor", "the ACA will save the average family $2500 a year", "my administration was completely scandal free". Shall I go on?

So you continue to misunderstand what was said.   Expected it.

Hoax.  You’re the one who misunderstands it.  I believe “entirety of our southern border” is the phrase that pays.

Also, FYI, Jesus was a brown migrant.  So chew on that when you try to square separating migrant parents from migrant children with your “Christian” beliefs.

Nope.  I’m not interested in your whataboutism.  Trump promised a wall covering the entirety of the southern border.  So he either failed and is a loser, or he lied.  Nothing much else to say on that one.

Based on this response, it appears that you believe that he lied.  “He didn’t set out to lie” implies that, although not initially intended to lie, he eventually lied.  Thanks for playing!

Does Mexico get a refund for the areas Trump is skipping?

For the hundredth time, or more, when asked in a pre-election interview if he meant that Mexico would send the US a check to pay for the wall, the President said ‘no’ that is NOT what he was planning. Give it a rest.

So what did he mean? Or was it another trump hoax?

Excellent question. If you want my honest opinion I believe he meant he’d change US policy to ‘defund’ other budgetary or trade elements that would be equivalent to the cost of the Wall.

That's just a little too complicated for 3rd Chair to understand. Mexico is patrolling both their southern and northern borders to help keep the border excursions from Central America at a minimum but 3rd Chair fails to understand that Trump turned them into willing or unwilling partners.

Thanks. I never really understood The Wall problem. I’m guessing none of these complainers can see it from their house. It’s not bothering those of us who practically can. It’s not even bothering Mexico. I never hear them complain about it.

If Obama had wanted a wall they would have been all for it.

3rd Chair's default position when he's got nothin'.

Fake news.  Trump said he would built a wall:

“That is why we support building a wall along our southern border and protecting all ports of entry. The border wall must cover the entirety of the southern border and must be sufficient to stop both vehicular and pedestrian traffic.”

So now am I to believe that the “big, beautiful wall” actually is a bunch of Mexicans wandering around the border area?  I think not.  Trump feels the same way.  It’s very clear that he spoke of a physical structure (that he has yet to deliver).  For example:

Speaking of “nothin’,’” tomorrow is the first of the month.  I, and the other taxpayers on this board, would appreciate it if you did not spend the public assistance monies you will receive tomorrow on MAGA merchandise.  Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation.
