The problem with that story is that is it not true.

The move came just hours after Acosta, CNN's chief White House correspondent, drew the ire of President Donald Trump and his allies by asking multiple questions at a post-midterms news conference.

Acosta didn't ask him multiple questions. He made multiple statements. Journalists ask questions. Activists makes statements.

Figure out the difference, nutbags.

That video looks doctored to me as they seemed to slow it down when he approaches the woman and then speed it up to make it look like a karate chop.  Regardless, just on decorum, Acosta needed to go.

I miss the shoutbox at the top of the page. The one thing I don't like about the redesign.  That and the posts aren't numbered anymore.

Two things.

And the ashtray

Shoutbox not at the top, posts aren't numbered, and the ashtray

And this paddle game

Shoutbox not at the top, posts aren't numbered, the ashtray, and this paddle game...

Unlike many, I do not think he assaulted her (yeah, yeah, I know that according to many laws unwanted touching of any kind can be considered assault, this is JMO). However, as you said, on decorum alone (I swore he was gonna fight her for that microphone!), Acosta needed a time-out.

The people defending him on Twitter are probably the same people that swore Corey Lewandowski broke off Michelle Fields' arm and left her bloodied on the floor. SMH

Jim Acosta is a nasty little piece of work that would do better as a talking-head on some round-table program. That way, when he makes the story all about him, it would make more sense.  He clearly does not understand that you can be tenacious and ask pertinent questions without being rude and disrespectful.  Many of these journalists need a refresher course in respect for the White House and Presidency. You do not have to respect the person personally (say that three times fast!), but you do have to respect the office.  Jim Acosta is just the worst of the lot.

Here's the real-time video where you can see him pressing down on her arm and pulling the mic closer to him (like he was gonna cuddle it). Look below the video of his making the SS guy work to get the hard pass back.

They did that to show that Acoster (and CNN) were lying about him not touching the intern.

But, but, but... according to the comments SHE invaded HIS space and SHE touched HIM! It was a set-up! Nothing short of a trap for poor Jimmy the Acoster.

The conduct of a handful of so-called reporters during President Trump’s news conference was disgraceful beyond measure. This is not journalism, this is narcissism.

Naturally, the boorish Jim Acosta of CNN was the instigator. As is his habit, Acosta doesn’t ask questions — he makes accusations and argues. Almost daily, he does it with the press secretary; Wednesday, he did it with the president.

“I want to challenge you,” Acosta began after Trump called on him. Trump realized he’d made a mistake, murmuring, “Here we go,” and Acosta didn’t disappoint.

He insisted that despite the president’s use of the word “invasion,” the caravan of Central American migrants “is not an invasion.”

He adopted a lecturing, I-know-best tone to declare that “they’re hundreds and hundreds of miles away; that’s not an invasion.”

Trump’s response should not have been necessary: “Honestly, I think you should let me run the country, you run CNN.”

I don’t think they should revoke his WH pass. Revoking press access for being rude is a very slippery slope. But the WH pass is to cover the news, not make yourself the news. His tweet & his behavior is what you expect from an activist, not a journalist.

And, of course, the scumbag Acosta goes on his pitiful network and claims victimhood.

What a POS he is and the WH should NEVER allow his ass back in.

CNN should never allow his ass to go back in.  Put him behind a desk in front of the camera, and make him the pundit he is.

And the White House idiots shouldn't have reduced this to a single issue of "he touched a girl!"  Given his history of disruptive, unprofessional behavior, they should have simply said "We're revoking his access, as he continually exhibits behavior that is disruptive and disrespectful to the rest of the White House press pool.  We encourage CNN to assign as their representative an adult who will respect the rights of others in the press pool."

Okay, but only until someone spots Jim Acosta at an Antifa protest.

he really should have been wearing a black hood to the pressers.

That actually might be an edited/doctored video.  More on why later.
